Probably his best work was as DC in Washington during 2004-2007 seasons. Ranked in top five in most defensive categories across the board for a couple-few seasons, dragged the team to some wins when the offense couldn’t put points on the board, and essentially single-handedly won the only playoff game for the ’Skins

Just looked it up. Damn, I’m jealous. How the hell did you get to watch that?

CMLL?

In the DC/MD area, it was on Saturday mornings around 11 am or noon-ish.

Well, goddamn. And I found this, which seems to corroborate your take:

As I recall, we can hear Mr. Pink and officers having a confrontation outside the warehouse, officers screaming at him to drop the gun, and then a hail of gunfire. Presumably, Mr. Pink gets shot down by multiple officers.

“Can’t scrap a lick / so I know you got your gat.”

Man, this brings back memories. Loved watching this show back in the day.

Good flick. Came out in the early ‘’70s. Redford plays a Mex-American war vet who retreats to the mountains to live off the land. He encounters hostile Native Americans, fights with and kicks everyone’s ass, grows a big beard, etc.

Saw that in theaters as well. One of my favorites. But yeah, at the time it was considered monstrously long.

Total gun ban.

Yeah, who knows. I think it’s possible there’s another angle here, but I’m not smartest to game it out. Trump may just want a “win.” Something to check off his list and prattle on about during election season. Either that or there’s a more oblique, nefarious purpose that some aide (Stephen Miller or someone) has

I hope he’s clean now. I know he’s been fighting addiction for a long time.

Yeah, “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid” is probably a close second for me. “Sting” third. I was never a baseball fan, so I know it’s blasphemy, but “The Natural” never did anything for me.

This just reminded me of the Bob Hughes soliloquy in “Drugstore Cowboy”:

Geezus christ. My dad was literally dying from cancer and they gave him Toradol for the pain. A ridiculously powerful drug.

Heroin is an opioid.

Funny, I was at the gym last weekend and the NFL games were up on the various TVs. I haven’t watched a game in a number of years, but I’m there running on the treadmill staring at the games in front of me. But I felt...nothing. Like, maybe hardly a vague “oh hey, nice grab” at most. I finished my run, and headed

I remember watching Sizemore on “Celebrity Rehab” many years ago and thinking he was even crazier in real life than in “Heat.” His go-to move was to instigate fistfights by clicking a lit cigarette directly into his opponent’s face. He did this to Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr (R.I.P.) at least twice that season.

Growing up as a kid in the ’80s, anything longer than 1.5 hours was crazy.
