That’s what I was going to say. You go to the Baltimore Arena for a JCP show in 1986? A lot of fuckin’ rednecks wearing their bigotry proudly.

Huh?
Shit. This is 25 years ago, so let me amend that to: “some real fuckin’ fast speed for a softball.” She eventually pitched at a decent college, so I presume it was a decent speed.
Wow, that’s pretty cool. We had a girl on our high school football team, too. She was a placekicker, though. Decent, but nothing special. Most guys on other teams attempted to light her up whenever she was on the field (legally or otherwise).
Phew. Thanks, buddy.
I mean, I appreciate and respect your explanation and stance. I respectfully disagree. I think the evangelicals will vote for Trump no matter who is by his side.
Right? People have such unshakeable faith in these institutions literally as they crumble to the ground. Rank-and-file government and military types aren’t taught to think for themselves. They do what their leader(s) tell him without question. No foot soldier is going to be sitting there going “Hm...President Trump…
Ahh, the modern NYC diaspora. I imagine the bloggers and artisans of various sorts would be forced to travel westward, toward that newly seceded country of California.
“Would he rather we bulldoze NYC”
“Dead cats, dead rats! Think you’re an aristocrat? Crap! Ah that’s crap!”
“Seriously, if you can’t trust a recipe from the United States government, who can you trust?”

Bingo.
I was gonna say “Hell, he may be dead by then,” but then I remembered that guys like him somehow live ’til 100, while everyone around him drops dead from heart attacks from all the anxiety he’s put on others.
Thanks for making me feel better.
Me, too. And you know what? Most people I even tepidly voice this opinion to call me a crazy person and a tin foil hat-type.
First of all: even if he loses in 2020, there’s a non-zero chance he refuses to cede power peacefully.
Do you have any links that led you toward forming that theory?
I’m of the opinion that Trump won despite Pence, not because of him. And if (when?) Trump makes the switch to another running mate, I think it increases his odds of winning in 2020. Pence was getting run out of Indiana before he luck-boxed his way into Vice President.
Agreed. We all get caught up in message threads like this, in our own little bubbles, without thinking about the big picture out there in the real world. Biden has been leading nearly every poll I have read, and even though people like us lean a lot further left politically, most folks in this country who identify as…
