Because Snyder is more concerned with generating revenue and pocketing gobs of money than he is on establishing a winning franchise. He can’t cede authority long enough, or defer to football minds, to go through that process. His last half-assed attempt at that ended when he (and Allen) ran McCloughn out of town.

DC has its first indie pro wrestling promotion in more than a quarter century. Fuck going to a ’Skins game; go to a Prime Time Pro Wrestling show at DC Brau instead.

I miss when Skins fans were actually working-class middle-aged men (of various ethnicities, not just white kids from Arlington) men who knew football X’s and O’s. There was a time when fans in DC were some of the most knowledgeable in the league. Back in the RFK days.

Yeah, I’ve read about NXT. I’d probably watch and enjoy, were it not for the McMahon-money connection.

Ah, got it. Have never seen NXT, though I have read good things about it. I pretty much boycott all McMahon products, eschewing them for indie wrestling and/or other promotional options.

Who’s booking this garbage? I don’t watch WWE, but I thought Triple H was in charge and seemed to want to stress the younger indie talent the company has procured. Goldberg, even in his in-ring heyday (inasmuch as that ever existed), couldn’t wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag.

No, I do the same thing. I have two young children, so sleep is scarce enough as it is. I don’t need a buddy of mine texting/calling at 2 a.m. because he’s drunk and wants to tell me something “super important! [read: not at all important]”
