No, I don’t believe so. Manafort kept his defense agreement intact while working with Mueller. I think that’s probably why Trump is so fucked--because Mueller probably figured that Manafort was feeding him lies and providing info from Mueller to share with Trump. So Mueller knew that going in.

Yep. Manafort’s lawyers still share a defense agreement with Trump’s lawyers, so it’s certain Guiliani saw/read it. He realizes they’re fucked from the “no collusion!” angle, so he needs to get out in front of this and try to soften the blow, limiting it to just Trump specifically.
