No surprises, here. I don’t think anyone who has been following along closely for all this ever thought Graham was going to bat for us against Trump. The GOP is all-in on this administration as long as Trump continues to serve their agenda, pack the judiciary with ideologues, and try to build a racist/xenophobic

“We believe one factor associated with why some are affected and others are not may be related to genes, and studies are now investigating the possible role of a genetic predisposition based on carrying the apolipoprotein E (APO E) gene, which is carried on chromosome 19 and comes in several forms, one of which

You tell your brother-in-law: Al Thomas is a prick.

Damascus is a public school.

For anyone who has never been to Damascus, it’s essentially the town in Foot Loose.

Not good enough. Trump needed to fire him.

You have to think so, right? I mean...he’s got to have a contingency plan built in. He’s got to.

I think they’re a bit smarter than that at this point. I think the acting AG simply cuts the investigation’s budget, effectively starving it to the point where Mueller no longer has the financial backing, personnel, and pull to conduct the probe as he’d like.

I wasn’t going to drink today. You have changed my mind.

So why the fuck is Sessions helping him? Why not force Trump to fire you, so at least this can be added to list of obstruction charges? And also, Trump would be forced to try to use the Vacancies Reform Act to appoint a new AG, which would take a while and had never been used before.

Fuck. I read just now that this Whitaker guy is on record as saying “the Mueller investigation has gone too far,” or something like that.

Sorry, don’t know the answer to that one. I’ve read a lot of articles that reference this 2015 rule change, and none of them mention any measure the GOP could take now to revoke it. If there was a way for republicans to do so, I imagine we’d hear about it in the next few days/weeks.

“What Democrats really gain is the power of oversight. Thanks to a rule the GOP passed in 2015, Democratic chairs of House committees will now be able to subpoena the administration with or without Republican consent”

In total, about two-thirds (66%) of candidates Trump endorsed won.

Well said.

Well said, well written.

Thanks. I have my moments.

This. I was going to respond to the other poster, but you nailed it. I’m not from the Boston area and, again, I don’t have any rooting interest in baseball at all.

Hank Fraley, perhaps?

Yeh, this is ridiculous. Although I have a feeling that you and me are the only two people who feel that way.
