I forget to mention: I love your screen name.

Merriam-Webster, OED, Garner’s, Chicago, GPO, AP, etc., all disagree. Almost across the board, most major style guides and dictionaries disagree with what you posted. Both from a descriptionist and prescriptionist standpoint, that’s not how most in the editing world treat it.
“An” is incorrect.
Avenatti is the truth.
Yessss.
“A historic[al]” is used in American English by a 4-to-1 ratio. In 2018, “historic” is pronounced with the “h” aspirated, and therefore takes “a” as the article.
You’d be hard pressed to find a style guide or dictionary that would suggest using “an” over “a” in such cases.
Holly, you are my buddy. But you are also talkin’ crazy talk.
Hey now, I love Bethany Beach! It’s a nice little town. Is Rehoboth that much nicer? I was there the other summer with the family for the day (while staying in Bethany) and while nice, it didn’t seem markedly better than Bethany.
Even if you’re a prescriptivist, “pleaded” is more common in usage than “pled.” For the record, though, I’m a Garner’s Modern American Usage guy:
He’s hiding out at a friend’s beach house in Bethany Beach, DE.
“Pled” instead of “pleaded”? “An habitual” instead of “a habitual”? C’mon, my dude.
Sounded like someone said something from the audience. Trump responded to it by shifting his gaze toward the area in the audience where he thought it came from and replied “So true.” That’s when the audience started laughing. I don’t think they were laughing at the “accomplished more in 2 years...” statement so much…
Oh my god, I could not stifle my laughter at this. Totally caught me off guard.
Is there some mechanism to remove or preclude him from taking over the Mueller investigation? Since Trump took office and has shrugged off any of the norms and regulations normally expected of government officials, I have little faith that Francisco, conflicts and all, wouldn’t step right into the Mueller…
There are plenty of conservative judges who could have been chosen, but Trump has a hard-on for Kavanaugh. There are several reasons why, but this is probably the most important reason:
Why do you presume that Francisco will take the same approach as Rosenstein?
There were two memos: one from Rosenstein and one from Sessions. Only Sessions’s actually recommended firing Comey; Rosenstein’s did not.
I’m such a weirdo (read: cynicist) that I read up on Francisco a while ago. It’s...not good.
Exactly what I was going to say, having grown up going to Ocean City, MD.
MoCo!
