As someone who daily drives an AZ-1, I’ve never understood when people say that kei cars couldn’t work on US roads. Sure, my JA11 Jimny wasn’t the greatest on the highway if you were in a hurry, but it never had any problems keeping up with traffic. My KS3 Sambar is even better, handling the Appalachians with a smile.

That Jimny. My loins!

Electric compressors to try to minimize turbo lag, but they’re using a torque converter automatic.

Put differently, the engine’s internals are stressed to the tune of 855hp but only 755 of that makes to the transmission input shaft. The same boost on a similarly-sized turbocharged setup would give around 855hp.

Please god yes!

Mazda offers the MX-5 RF with a power retractable targa as well as the standard Miata soft top. Which one sells better? The soft top, by a wide margin. Pricing hasn’t been announced for any of the C8s but on the Mazda the targa is a $2,500 option, so that may play into the numbers.

I don’t know about the rest of North America but a small electric car is definitely MY future. Unfortunately for FCA, the current 500 will never be “the future.” We loved both of ours, but that car lives in a reality where it’s perpetually 2002.

While waiting for my Focus RS to be produced, my husband and I participated in the whole $50 cash to test drive a new Ford program. I wanted a car with the RS engine so I requested a manual Ecoboost Mustang. My husband was interested in a Fiesta ST and requested one. I got thrown in an automatic GT and the husband

Says he’s a micro truck guy. Doesn’t list any micro trucks. The Suzuki Carry would like to have some words with you. Also, it’s Mighty BOY, not Mighty MAX. Silly Mitsubishis.

MegaZip has a good catalog and Amayama generally has better prices but getting to their catalogue isn't great for certain makes. I'm in the habit of finding part numbers from MegaZip and then buying them through Amayama for all of the OE parts for my Sambar, Autozam, and Jimny

Maybe it's just an artefact of being an F-150 based mule, but my husband and I are holding out hope that there is indeed a two door "regular cab" version. We've been attempting to speak with out wallet for years now but when the number of vehicles in the pool is zero, it's kind of hard to actually buy something.

“That doesn’t looking anything like an SM!”

My dad’s E93 M3 came with all of the carbon fiber goodies that Bavaria had to offer. When new, they looked tacky and ill-fitting. Now they are cracking, falling off, and nearly all of the clearcoat on every single piece is gone. I’ve seen better quality carbon fiber from no-name sellers on ebay. Now he plans on

If you only knew...

Honestly no. If I’m selling the car, it means that I no longer want it. When I sold my second Eclipse, I just wanted the POS gone. When I sold my third Eclipse, I just wanted the POS gone. When I sold my Miata, I just wanted the POS gone. When I sold my Ranger, I just wanted the POS gone. When I sold my Focus RS, I

Cars are not shipped in containers. Even ones imported under the 25 year rule are shipped RORO.

I have been on the waiting list and am now crossing my fingers. It’s $5k more than the spec that I want and doesn’t contain anything extra to justify the price to me, but if my name comes up I’m taking it on the color alone. Even though I decided this month that I was going to forego the bland-paletted ND and import a

I don’t know if I am the target demographic for the Camaro or not, but I can honestly say that in my opinion the 67-69 styling was the only “generation” that wasn’t catastrophically ugly. That yellow behemoth above has a face only a mother could love and it didn’t get better until 2010. If GM wants to cash in on a

Whoa, spoiler alert! Come on, man. Have some respect for those of us that haven’t seen Infinity War yet!
