You know, I generally agree. This reeks of abuse though. I'm sorry, but w/o probable cause of terrorism, that little prick cop with a big ego better stay the hell away from my personal information. I think this calls for the hackers of America to go and get that $500k worth of data for free and put it in the public

Just go develop the next big OS!

Such a system might have bigger legal ramifications if adopted. In court, should a civil suit follow, this might increase liability in a jury's eyes.

So true about MS in general. I wonder if they have a corporate culture to not take risks? Maybe after Windows ME, or Vista for that matter. I see WP7 as an exception at launch. If you're not willing to take some risks, you'll stay behind the leaders. Much love MS, but come on.

You wouldn't look at Apple's profit, you would look at their cost + profit - Best Buy margin (aka wholesale). If Apple gives free trades to Best Buy employees, they're losing their cost and their profit margin, because they would get all of this in a consumer sale transaction. You're right that you were generous

True. Risky, but true. I'm pretty sure that this guy is smart enough to know that he can't sleep with any of his subordinates without huge risk.

Enough already! His sexuality is irrelevant! I loathe organizations who play this game... The guys sexual orientation has zero to do with his success. Sexuality has no place in the professional workplace.

Do the math... If only five employees at each store (830 stores) did a trade for a wifi 32gb, that's $2.5M! If I want one bad enough, I don't need to get it from Best Buy. I'm guessing that five is conservative, and that doesn't include corporate or favors for family.

They can't unless Apple buys all of them one? That's absurd. Apply that to any retail scenario and it doesn't go very far. They can use the demo, receive training and even buy one if they like... But you seem to be insinuating that they would need to own one of every product they might sell. Find a retailer who

That was f-u-n-n-y! Thanks for the laugh!

Beautiful picture. I still don't get it though. Is th earth blocking the SDO's view to the lower half, and our atmosphere obscuring the upper half?

It was all George Bush's fault. And, so was the tsunami in Japan... He hates Japanese people.

Fun-nee! :)

I think guys buy this chair in hopes that the side-saddle ultimately leads to the astride posture. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a chair designed specifically for that too. Even I think the chair above is a pretty cool concept though, and I'm not generally too impressed by stylistic chair designs.

My thoughts exactly... They have a lot of crew out on the flightline at any given time. Now, a robotic deck crew might sell the admiral. :)

Sweet! Loved the first game but couldn't bring myself to finish the second. This is certainly a new twist on the Jaurez games. Can't wait to learn more!

Probably not a great idea to talk about fires in pants before a product launches. I can see this article being used in court in a year. Plus, how do you redact a statement like that when the NNGP actually is as fast as a PS3? "Foget what wensaid before about pant fires folks!"

That would have been a pretty impressive leap, huh? If nothing else, this sure gave the NGP some pre-launch attention from techies. I am still excited to see what it can do.

Really, really hard! So not cool!

Unfortunately, I cannot see the video at all... There's nothing to click.
