Why is it that the second window pane moves in high speed at times, at what appears to be normal speed at other times and then in slow-mo at others? Shouldn't they have just synchronized the full clip length to the full driving sequence? Now I'm even more confused. :)
@cbarrentos: Both sides can be wrong. The judge showed good prudence when he scolded the plaintiff for their botched case. Nothing is worse than a hypocrite.
@Jason Jones: Good point. Where is the line for modding? What if you were to put the guts in a new housing and sell that? I think their beef is really all about pirated software, but who knows when they might choose to go after someone for console mods aimed at other aspects.
@Teran: "A console without hardware is not a console". Really?
@Tony Kaye: That's a nice thought! I did get lucky last week at Gamestop. I went in to pick up Fallout New Vegas for my son and the Legendary Edition of Halo Reach was just dropped from $150 to $80 that day. They had two. I already had Reach, but I really wanted that flaming helmet perk. I asked the clerk if he…
@Tony Kaye: This is a decent Super WalMart. It has a nice electronics section. The problem here is that the sale was very non-descript... They had only a few titles for each platform. These were almost all lower rated games from days gone by. The kiosks were not even in the electronics section... No, instead they…
@Webran61: Yeah, but it's only the 8 gb model.
Just back from WalMart for discounted video games... Lame selection!!! Like I didn't know that already, right? A friend asked me to go, so I was hoping I would be proven wrong, but wasn't. Too bad.
Cool concept, but impractical and way overpriced. Personally, I wouldn't be able to sit through two chapters in that thing. Hakuna Matata!
When does the infommercial come out? I want two for the price of one... Then they'd make good Christmas gifts.
@wizll: You are correct. My company develops software as one component of our product, and I can tell you that it's among the most time-intensive and specialized skill sets out there. Software development costs are very high, and I would venture to say that would be the case at MS for Kinect too... They not only…
@-rocka: Thank you for stating what should be the obvious. I guess folks who have never had any involvement in the product development cycle lack that fundamental understanding. Not only do you consider the price of components, but you have to consider the price of logistics, assembly, storage, quality control,…
That was Avatastic!
@scarbrtj: Well said.
@wezelboy: If you read his transcript again, I think you'll see that he likens the case before the court to an impingement on free speech, and then point out the hypocrisy that cable television isn't regulated this way. Yes, he makes the point that video games are art... A legitimate point, right?
@woolley: Exactly right!
@Creed_Kotetsu: You are not alone!
@LucasTizma: I have the sneaky suspicion that his biggest critics have never really listened to him. You're never going to agree with someone 100% of the time, but Rush has some pretty profound things to say. He has a knack for pointing out the obvious. He is to be applauded for his comments regarding the…
@abeeee: You've checked? Wow. Glad I don't use the TP at your house... Sorry for those who do.
