HA. $11k in damage here and not reported to carfax. Almost been a year.

I have proof of this. $11k worth of damage to my last car. Happened 10 months ago. No police report. Shop had car for 3 months. Carfax is still clean right now. I hope the new owner is aware of it.

Not buying it. When safety is at stake you do what the professionals tell you to do. Not what you’ve seen done by a difference company on a completely different car. They need to pay up.

Its okay, but you’re just wrong. If the OEM says not to glue, you don’t glue. They obviously have all of the data you don’t have that shows welding it better. Can’t believe anyone would argue for bonding when the roof literally debonded.

Carfax is fucking worthless.

I wrecked the my previous car almost a year ago and the Carfax is still clean today. $11k in parts and labor done through my insurance company. I did nothing to try and hide it. Do not trust Carfax.

Same money spent on a used SS would destroy that Stage 3 Golf.

And now a MK7 DSG Golf R with Stage 2 can beat this car.

This is a good summary article. I just realized this week that the MK7 Golf R is the perfect car for me. It’s the poor mans Nissan GTR. I only wanted a DSG so MK6 was out and I want the turbo 4 for the increasing power potential so the R32s were always out. So hopefully I can convince my wife to let me get a used 2016…
