Lighten up, Francis.

Blair Underwood is a … a really magnificent human specimen. *swoon*

I did read it but it seemed a small concession to your overall complaint and I wasn't going to let it ruin the opportunity to be snide.

The finale was definitely not up to the show's standard which, for a finale, is kinda the opposite of what should happen. That said, I'd hardly use the word terrible to describe it.

Well, she did jump out of the old bus in a bid to sacrifice herself and save the team. Also, totes adorbs.

Man, if only they had 20 or so more episodes to unravel the mystery of what happened to Gemma Simmons from her own retelling of the things she encountered. Maybe they could even have further ramifications of the worst impromptu vacation ever. That could play into some longer narrative arc.

Honestly, if they came up with some harebrained plot which demanded the May family go undercover on vacation, putting Melinda in between her bickering divorced(?) parents while spy hijinks occur in the background, I would be irresponsibly happy.

He's really done a lot more than just hammy roles.

Yep. And well used, I thought. Love that man. He's great whether he's playing a good or bad guy. However, I'm going to have to knock the episode down a half-grade due to no appearance by the wonderfully caustic Mama May.

My friend sat in the theatre and managed to get through most of it without comment but when they got to the scene at the end where they 'stumble upon' their team name, she had had enough. She sat up in her seat, stretch her hands toward the screen and yelled: "Oh, come on!"

Fox News: It's the gift that keep on giving.

I was like, "That floofy dude in Stardust is playing son of a boxer, Hell's Kitchen, fist-to-the-face Daredevil? Netflix is going to ruin Daredevil for us a second time!"

Is that how you made enough money for power converters? Tosche Station was so overpriced back in the day.

Speak for yourself. Making a billion dollars isn't hard once you realize a blood diamond is actually indistinguishable from a regular diamond and you only need a convincing enough paper trail to…

I cling to this truth.

Yes, but the Corinthian leather seats were worth the price.

I know, right? It's not like The AV Club gets snarky about any other topic. That they would get snarky about this is quite beyond me and so out of character for the site. It's almost as if they think movie nerds are able to withstand jokes from other movie nerds; jokes about being, oh, I dunno, let's say a movie nerd.

I'd wager it was almost entirely good theatre (see: Kristen Bell or Haley Atwell), with one or two exceptions. I don't remember who but I do remember at least once thinking: "She's not joking." But by and large, Craigy Ferg and his guests were kidding around for the camera.

I cannot argue with that. It is certainly conspicuous.

Zing!
