Ciabatta bread is not real. Any sort of “bread” that was “invented” in 1976 can burn in hell.

I find “the slot” to be a highly appropriate subsite of Jezebel in the most inappropriate of ways.

Actually, that’s exactly what most companies started doing a few years back -in spite of much hand ringing from those who claimed it would only escalate violence.

Gorgeous. What am I missing? If this thing was 3 hours near me, I’d be taking the afternoon off of work to go look at the thing.

I thought they should have spent more time before they snatched the kid, halfway through I couldn’t remember why I cared about this kid. (hint: I didn’t).

Who was the rich kid jerk villain in The Goonies? Also, I’m sure your hunch is right about the BMW - they made it clear that Steve’s parents were out of town (the pool party, etc).

Another car whose top spec’d model was only available in a stick and is now no longer available at all? Fantastic. Keep artificially limiting your market.

Don’t try that with crows.

TIL as well. Any publicity is....

The MLM aspect of Herbalife aside, the original products contained ephadrine which is absolutely a legitmate stimulant that will aide in weight loss.

I love it when news articles actually contain answers to immediate and obvious questions. In this case, why the hell is the truck lifted, because that’s the exact opposite of what you would want to do with 707 horsepower to the rear wheels.

Eh. Just looks like last week’s episode of Mr. Robot where he finally got his adderall dosage dialed in.

Maybe he’s taking into account that’s what you’d have to pay for an equivalent $1,500 car if you lived in Hawaii? I dunno.

No, you missed the point that the reason it’s done is to maintain the proportions of the styling cues from the front of the vehicle.

Thanks for answering the most obvious question in the article, “Were these things even $5,500 brand new?”

Seriously? It’s there so the round fender diameters match on the front and the back, yet the additional square needs to be included to the back because, you know, dually and it needs more space.

I wondered about the SVT differential cooler as well. Doesn’t seem like something that should be required on a low mileage vehicle like this.

Seems about $2k too expensive to me, but.... How difficult would it be to replace the 90s era electronics with current ones? The current ones should actually take up less space so not completely worthless.

Exactly. Winning Powerball and needing a vehicle to go to and from the private landing strip on my 10,000 acre farm/ranch/preserve I just bought in Africa, I think spending $58k on this would be a fantastic idea.

I am the only one glad the McLaren driver got what he deserved? It’s not like he just had the nose of his car a bit across the line. The stop sign was at least a full car length behind where he actually stopped.
