I’d be interested in knowing where the bulk of Volvo’s sales are....Vermont? Connecticut?

I used to see so many of these when I lived in Canada I thought GM must have been giving them away for nearly free

25 minutes? If this was LAX instead of PHX they would have called in the bomb squad in about 90 seconds.

Volvo, Subaru

I don’t see why this is a problem. Don’t get me wrong, I hate crossovers and I have trouble seeing their usefulness, but it’s no secret that we prefer trucks over cars in the US. The best selling vehicle is a pickup truck and it will probably always be that way, so it’s no surprise they’re so popular.

the rear end still looks rather Hyundai-ish though

Well, I would buy it. It looks way better than the Prius V

The burgundy looks nice but they should have offered it in eggshell

In reality, this sort of event only serves as evidence that there are too many people out there with so much money they literally don’t know what to do with it all. Why buy an apartment building and a brand new Ferrari when you can buy the apartment buidling, the Ferrari, AND one of these?

A few weeks back I drove from San Diego to Bakersfield, a drive I have done many many times. Nothing too exciting to report except that it was just exceptionally bad the entire way...including much of the mountains north of LA. August really seems to be the worst month in SoCal for awe-struck European tourists in

I wrecked an Avis rental car a few years back and didn’t pay a single dime. When I dropped off the car Avis didn’t even care, and Visa paid the whole thing. The accident was entirely my fault and they never charged me a single cent. Talk about a pleasant surprise

Isn’t it just because of Cash for Clunkers?

Infiniti made the most amazing vehicles...before 2006

I’ve had two Monteros, a 97 Montero LS and a 2000 Montero Sport XLS... Both great cars, totally indestructible... But they are SLOW!

I just paid my California renewal. It’s $185

I think it would be foolish to think that they wouldn’t.

The medallion (would have) had a significant resale value, like any other asset. Uber destroyed that

.

How is that irony?

I recently bought a 2003 QX4 with 92k and it’s the best car I’ve ever owned.
