Is it weird, I waited until I felt ready to have sex, and then did. Ended up in a bad relationship that while there was sex, it wasn’t the root of the badness. So I got out of it, and stopped having sex, until I wanted to have sex again.

My parents have been miserably married forever (40 years). It sucked as a kid, as I felt like *someone* had to make sure they were a basic level of nice to each other, and that ended up being me. I remember being a small kid an thinking my mom deserved someone who liked her better.
