Well, I think we just found David Cronenberg’s next movie.

I have never heard of this, nor have I ever had cucumbers that are in any way bitter. I must have been buying some kind of super-cuke all this time.
My dream has a lot of paths, least to most realistic: sleeper build a gen 2 Saturn SC, BEV resto-mod a Gen 3 Camaro, a track prepped resto-mod {240z, late 60s mustang, early 70s camaro - I’m flexible here}, and finally a resto-mod an 80s style truck to tow all these toys around.
I’ve always liked the idea of taking a car from the ‘70s-’80s “malaise” era and upgrading them to realize their potential. Swap in more modern engines and tech to improve power and handling and resolve old issues. An example would be turning an old B-body Dodge Magnum XE into a highway bombing grand tourer or LS…
I have recently started to plan out a P1800 project. The car has phenomenal proportions and they could be had for pretty cheap. I am really wanting all the hubub about the P1800 Cyan restomod to die down so that people don’t learn about these and start making them sought after.
Make them free to attend.
Bring cars the unwashed public will never see otherwise - Lambo needs to bring out a Miura to put beside their 2023 Aventador. Toyota needs to set out a 2000GT beside their 2023 86. Make it a travelling museum, not a travelling dealer lot.
Installed an infant seat in my Wife’s car. I have a son now!
Several hatchbacks listed as wagons and no Volvos? Huh.
My former colleague has a p1800 hatch, to my mind it counts... :) love the shape. She’s retired, and i pester her allll the time about buying it
Holden’s VF Commodore-based HSV GTS-R W1 must be in with a shout. A car that often saw use as a taxi or family sedan, fitted with mechanicals from the ZR1 Corvette of the same vintage (same LS9 engine and gearbox), suspension built by the company that builds the control suspension components for the Supercars series,…
I’ll put a more positive touch on a car already suggested, the actual one factory hot rod ever built: The Prowler.
