I also felt that she was not a nice person, but the film wanted me to like her. This was apparent earlier on when she was mean to the frizzy haired girl for no obvious reason I could see, and nice to the mean girls. And just terrible to Tony.

I have literally seen every Coen brother movie in the theater starting with Blood Simple. I kind of love how everyone's list is a little different. Many of their movies were unloved when they first came out, which just goes to show how movie critics can be dopes.

The difference with the show is that Brian is a genuine "nice guy" unlike Bradley Cooper's character, so it's more of a reimagining of what NZT would be like in the right hands vs. the wrong hands, because one episode in particular explored what the wrong hands look like.

Definitely one of my favorite shows. I don't know if it will keep it up, but the writing and directing is very clever. You must watch!

Also scarlet fever which exempted him for WWII service for a bad heart. Sad story: his young daughter died of an allergic reaction to a bee sting.

Excellent point about the sidelining of Dr. Wilkes. On the plus side, this show gamely tackles sexism and now racism and inter-racial romance quite seriously. It's just a great show, by far the best of all the marvel tv shows and better than most of the movies too. Haley Atwell is a charmer and her chemistry with

Don't get the Ava duvernay love; Selma was soooo dull.

This show is more fun that it deserves to be, and it's all down to James Spader and his over the top dialogue.

Is there some reason AV Club isn't covering Limitless? It's really the best new show this season. The writing is fun.

Me too. I think the mysteries have been too easy this season. The audience shouldn't be ahead of Sherlock, IMO.

So when ugly and/or charmless guys can't get anywhere with pretty women, it's the woman's fault? I guarantee you that ugly women don't get anywhere with hot guys either.

You guys are weird.

It's not that simple.

Bought my first record at Tower Mountain view in 1978 (Joe Walsh "But Seriously, Folks"). I also spent hours mooning around when I was a teenager in search of some kind of scene, flirting with employees and examining the sane imports sections over and over. I worked there for 2 summers in the late 80s, and it was full

This show is actually one of the better pilots. I liked limitless too. Both are mainstream crap, but as long as they're fun to watch, I'm in. Minority report was awful (I can't even with Wilmer valderama), blind spot is ok, and heroes was too; rosewood was awful. I don't expect I'll go the whole season with most of

A long time ago, I saw Nightmare on Elm Street 3 in France dubbed into French, and it was clear that a lot of the over-the-top humor didn't translate based on audience reaction. I couldn't understand the language, but I knew what was going on because it was a Nightmare on Elm Street movie, come on!

The Variety review I read said that Hardy's performance is great, so I doubt it's a skip for us Tom Hardy fans. That said, while This Means War is stupid, Tom Hardy is very attractive in it, so I think it's worth seeing.

You can find this and other alternate endings online somewhere. It was clearly a joke ending though. Anything would have been better than the actual ending.

Fat shaming not appreciated.

I had a traumatizing movie experience when I was 7 or 8 when my mom took me to see the animated Italian movie "allegro non troppo." There's a heartbreaking vignette about a sad big eyed stray tabby cat that was living in some ruins. He kept imagining scenes where he had a family and they loved him but then reality
