I think the car they were talking about was the one that ran blondie over, not the first car at the gas station. This second car was registered to October with the address of the cult leader, so that tied everything together. Still, I agree with the reviewer that this show telegraphs who the bad guys are much too

Yes, there are unfucked up languages. Many languages have been rationalized (spelling, pronunciation, grammar) by government agencies over the centuries (for example, there's a reason Spanish is so regular). I don't know if English's blend of Germanic and French is particularly unique, but it's a little weird.

Complete heresy. Mifune was king.

On the other hand, she does have a spinoff series with a sympathetic gay character as the main character, so I'm not sure it's simple homophobia going on. There's also some bad male on female rape. I think there's just a "rape is bad" theme.

I found my work network was interfering with finishing the ticket transaction. It went through fine on my home network. (This was after quite a bit of teeth gnashing).

They had to kill Hubbell off because he was way too old/nerdy for someone like Michelle. It's hard to root for a TV romance between the two, even if he was "nice."

This last season was kind of terrible. I don't even know if a live Andy Whitfield could have saved it.

I don't think so. But thanks so much for your valuable insight!

I've had people reconnect with me on email after a long time, and we have lots of good back and forths, and start playing words with friends, and texting, and then all of a sudden, without explanation, but maybe because we don't like all the same movies, they cancel all our words with friends games and stop responding

I really enjoyed this episode; yes, it was all cliffhangers. So what? I don't understand this need for tons of answers. If they answered everything, what would happen next season? This show still has lots of potential to get even better. I like all the recurring characters (except Hank). Even Nick is getting more

"If you're a fantasy reader, I'd say just jump in with Perdido Street Station, which definitely isn't for everyone, but probably is for anyone who might be a Mieville fan."
