That makes sense too. I feel like Krista was being pretty shady last season and knew that. She was ready (and iirc actually went through with) to sign documents saying Elliot no longer needed counseling. Whoops. One part of me thinks she’s guilty about that.

I like it!

I sang along and quietly wept/chuckled as the last remanents of my sanity hopped on the downtown Q train and headed for the end of the line.

Yeah, so now Basket Case, a song I’ve loved since 4th grade has become “that song from that one Mr. Robot”

Elliot is definitely locked up.

Here’s my theories, in their totality:
-The s1 finale started with Krista meeting with her ex (who’s dog Elliot stole). He figured out that Elliot was a hacker and a stalker, but not the fsociety connection.
-I think that knock at the door (from s1, you know the one) was the authorities

I’m sort of scared of her lips? They are disproportionate to the rest of her face, like she’s having a very sexy allergic reaction.

That’s one of my favorite aspects of the show. In this era of the mystery box show, it’s weirdly refreshing for the artfully filmed withholding of information to frustrate the characters as much as the viewer. By making the show about Elliot’s feelings, it gives us a much better reason to invest in the mystery.

del Mundo is one of my favorite artists in comics, but I agree that something is off here. I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he’s new to the series, maybe he needs some time to figure out how his versions of the characters should look. His work on Elektra was superlative.

And c’mon, what about One through Ten?

This interview makes me feel even better about the show, but I’m plugging it because my very cool friend Griffin Newman snagged the role of a lifetime playing Arthur in this! Griffin is talented and hilarious; he’s worth the price of admission alone.

Yeah, Loeb is a living reminder that the folks making our media are people too.

My girlfriend is a librarian and a comics nerd. She share my distaste for Loeb’s work (her official position is “Jeph Loeb needs hugs, not more gigs”). She felt obligated to read The Long Halloween, just as a hole in her comics know how. Her review: “It was pretty OK. That’s the best thing Jeph Loeb has ever written?

Can I rant about Jeff Loeb? Thanks guys.

I walked out of Pacific Rim 1 with the following pitch for a movie:

Dr. Geisler (Charlie Day) has used his expertise of both Kaiju and Jaeger to create a hybrid prototype (like a biological but pilotable ABOMINATION) and in selling these heinous crimes against nature, has become the most powerful man in the world. The

In NYC, the week after Hurricane Sandy, there was an influx of HUGE rats menacing subway passengers. Those rats have since bred, and a few generations later, we’ve got SUPERRATS. One more storm like that, and I’m assuming the post Sandy rats will emerge, steal all our pizza, and head for the stars to colonize a better

Well we don’t know anything about the movie yet, but in the comics Carol is a colonel when she gets he powers. I’m no expert, but to become an officer like that, you’ve gotta be at least 35 or so.

I just read the third trade of Southern Bastards, and holy crap yes, so happy it got an appropriate ammount of love.

This scene has haunted me, and I think this is one of the most perfect issues of comics I’ve ever read (issue #13). I hated every single character in it, but the drama and most especially the perfect

I already gave this a star, but I also want to add that this is the best, most succinct state-of-the-industry summary I have ever seen. True to my username, I struggle to find such efficient eloquence.

And for anyone not on Team Alison:
