I wanna see Face/Off but it’s Idris Elba and Kanye West

The ultimate in Pizza/Pita mixups! I saw this movie as a teen when it came out and I think about it all the time.

It’s actually the fourth! (This is one of my favorite bit of Oscar trivia!)

You got Ledger and Phoenix as Joker.
Brando and De Niro as Corleone.
John Wayne and Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn.

And now the two Anitas!

I reviewed the DC one, and it was low-key great. Good art, but the secret weapon was Christos Gage. That guy knows how to comics.

Check to see if your local library does Hoopla (https://www.hoopladigital.com/). They have a great selection of all sorts of comics, and you can read them all free with your library card. They have the last few years of X-Men.

Cypher has been a major character for the last three years. He’s the only one who can communicate with their island home Krakoa. In the most recent storyline, “Inferno,” I’d say Cypher was the most heroic character and his relative “weakness” in a fight is a major plot point in the final confrontation.

His hair is for sure metal, but I don’t think we’ve ever been told the texture.

Wait until someone tells them about the Barenaked Ladies

I contribute to and edit a comic site (multiversitycomics.com it’s a pretty good website) and we are so particular to thank every creator who does work for every comic. Nice to see other folks doing the same!

we stan Deep Roy though

Nothing but winners in these here comments

Ha, and I actually feel the opposite, that Mariner IS Section 31, and she just got them off the trail. I think it actually makes more sense that she’s an elite spec ops agent than if she just loves kicking ass that much. Half of Section 31's recruitment probably happens in Klingon prisons!

The devs of one of my favorite games (XCOM) is channeling the vibes of two of my OTHER favorite games (Slay the Spire & Divinity Original Sin 2) and doing my favorite mode (spooky) of my favorite comics (Marvel)...

Thank you! So it sounds like (based on my understanding which mostly comes from episodes of You’re Wrong About) it’s gotta do with America’s labyrinthine and unhelpful child and sex trafficking laws.

Real question: I know the answer is “lots of things” but what is the major difference between something like Roblox and something like Dreams or LittleBigPlanet? I’m sure it’s gotta do with monetization etc, and that is what I am specifically asking about?

With stuff like this, I feel like it’s a real simple question of “what are my friends playing?” and then it becomes an issue of critical mass. If a bunch of kids play a crappy game, a bunch more kids will start to play it, and then it snowballs from there.

Thank you, there’s some insight in there. The point about China makes sense to me. If you are positing that OnlyFans is trying to break into the Chinese market... I mean that seems ludicrous to me, but then again, this is a ludicrous situation, so sure.

You are so right about Thanos’ transition from deep nerd shit to cultural ubiquity being a magic trick...

I get why this makes sense intuitively, but can someone point me towards some kind of sourced data explaining this idea? I know it’s said that ‘advertisers shy away from explicit content,’ but that’s such a vague and unsubstantiated claim.

This movie came out the summer after I graduated high school. I watched it with my bff the day before the two of us got on a 12 hour flight. I was too scared of snakes to pee for the entire flight. Being young and dumb is so great.
