Damn, these two last episodes were so fucking boring… what a shame, the I love new York episode was probably the best one for me. That shit with Francesca was so… devoid of joy and I guess it was the point and at times it was kinda interesting how they deal with the complications of their relationship, especially…
i don't know if anyone digs king of bachata Romeo Santos, but his new album Golden is due very soon, if those instagram posts he's left as of late are to be trusted… I know this is the AVClub and a dominican puerto rican artist is probably not on most commenters' radar, but hey… if anyone enjoys his music, let's talk…
get that american paper, Eugenio!
verga we, nunca habia topado a alguien que dijera tan bien lo que derbez significa en mexico. A huevo :) ya viste esta peli?
Ah shit, sorry, That's the one. I got that version of AJFA and the Guitar Hero version of Death Magnetic that fixed all the clipping mixed up in me head.
Download the Guitar Hero version. Apparently, the mix they made for the game reinstated the bass in a big way. Haven't heard it, though, just remember people mentioned this a lot a while back in the Metallica forums.
I like Mike, he's funny on Weekend Update; but this special… I don't know, he came across as pretty fucking smug to me and I didn't dig that. Too full of himself at this point, in my opinion. Hopefully that shit wears off by the time his next special arrives.
Love this dude's personality and some of his music, Summertime 06 had some cool songs, but the new EP kinda left me cold. Still, he's an interesting artist, and I dig his interviews quite a bit. Not much to say here, heh, God bless ya, Vince!
Yo, I kinda know Hugo, one of the dudes in this band. He produced some of my friend's records over here in Mexico and has DJ'd some local parties, scene festivals, etc. He was also part of Robota, this like, electronic, kraut style band (https://rob0ta.bandcamp.com , shameless plug, fuck it, I feel kinda proud even…
I'm surprised by how good this album is! I'd give it an A-… nah an A! it really is pretty fucking good, man I love when Busta Rhymes breaks through the solid wall of sound! with a couple pounda weed and a couple dollar van! We The People is quite the minorites' anthem! Melatonin, how funky is that track? some of it…
Ever since he dropped the title track I've been excited for this album for some reason. I liked some of his older songs, especially, When I was Your Man and the one that's like a breakbot ripoff (sorry, I'm one of those that doesn't care for this fact, the original breakbot song leaves me cooold) but never really…
Just listened to it, first impression was that it's great, these guys just hit my sweet spot, guitars, rambling lyrics commenting on modern life, luv it.
I know this is a great argument against the film, I agree with it, but… I still enjoyed it.
that big sean phone call felt so forced when i listened to the album, very manipulative…
This is a great comment and a great addition to to this review. It did strike me as strange that the reviewer didin't notice this crucial juxtaposition, like it almost feels as if he didin't get the docu at all then… What a shame.
:o does Alejandro have a reputation of being an asshole on set or something? could you elaborate?
Great great song, but my favorite on the album is "Less Than", the way it breaks down towards the end… amazing. Definitely a lot of new territory explored on that album. By that I mean new territory for her, it's not like those sounds have never been heard before in music, but it was really a breath of fresh air…
You must, and I'd also recommend getting it on vinyl, it comes with a bonus live show (Live at the Headroom) which is grrrreeeaat. Dude's going places!!!
no one here into Alex G??? Beach Music was one of the year's best records and it seems very in line with the sort of music you guys rate highly!! I would say Waxahatchee and Kendrick were my top 2 favorites of the year.
