You’ve done a nice job of summing up my feelings here. Thanks.

To me, personally, TLJ was the first thing that’s actually felt like Star Wars since 1983. Not an extrapolation or an imitation or a tribute or a cash-in, but Star Wars itself.

Counterpoint dude. JJ Abrams basically aped all the story beats of the original and turned in a largely mediocre movie which was only saved by the chemistry of the fresh young leads, Adam Driver as the Anakin Skywalker we deserved, and the surprisingly emotional death of Han Solo.

The best Captain America movie... if you don’t count TV movies.

I’ve never been so surprised coming back around to a game. Granted it’s been YEARS, but when I left this it was a crashy little proof of concept. It’s now a full and proper racing game, and I love it.

I backed this one when they were first crowdfunding it, and for quite a lot of its early access, I really wasn’t very hopeful about it. They were changing the physics model all over the place, it never really felt right or fun, and kept getting delayed more and more...

I know you’re in your feelings about this movie and I respect that, but I have to point out something:

Luke being a super cynical old man makes perfect sense to me, so much so that I seriously don’t understand those who are upset that Luke isn’t the idealist of the original trilogy. Yes, he was super idealistic...when he was young, but age and experience and seeing what happened with his nephew have chipped away at him

We nonetheless would argue that Ms. Huckabee, and Ms. Nielsen and Mr. Miller, too, should be allowed to eat dinner in peace.

It has to do with the predominant neoliberal schema for viewing and understanding the world. Neoliberal ideology views everything through an economic lens, in the same way Realist IR theory views everything through the lens of power, mostly state power. It’s the assumption under their framework.

I have, and it’s the neoliberal focus on viewing the world through a heavily economically focused, if not solely economically focused, lens. That is a neoliberal trait, even if it’s not as blatant outside the US which has a stronger capitalist bend.

I miss the Flash Sales so much...thats where the crazy discounts were

I liked Rogue One because it was a new story. Give us more side stories about people who haven’t been talked about, people who made possible the big stories we already have. There’s literally an entire galaxy full of potential, we don’t need to rehash characters who’ve been around and would be just fine getting a

ICE is separating families that declare at ports of entry seeking asylum. Also, entering the US illegally is a misdemeanor. What other misdemeanor has the punishment of being separated from your children and having those children held in cages?

Seeking asylum is not illegal

Nah not really, If you follow the production you can see the progress. Still in alpha, most games that are developed have a similar amount of time being produced before ever reaching beta. We have just been given a full roam of the process for the first time. People criticize and poke fun, but, it’s kinda silly

I don’t know how so many people don’t understand game development. It has been 5 years. 5 years is also the ammount of time God of War took and i don’t recal people saying it was “never coming out”. Horizon Zero Dawn took 5 years, and i don’t recal people saying it was never coming out. GTAV took over five years and i

This is why i shake my head at those who say streamers “have no real job” or “have it easy.” Streaming can be, and usually is, incredibly mentally and emotionally draining. In most cases, say goodbye to your social life, any hobbies outside of it, and physical health. You stream for 8-10 hours a day, and there’s a

The difference is that that Perkins isn’t compiling books of children’s drawings, then turning around and selling them for $60 each.
