Arma 3 has that and in fact if you keep the gun hoisted at your shoulder the whole time it affects your fatigue. Lower gun, run, stop, raise gun, go aim down sights.

I would compare it to DayZ. They both entered a playable Early Access Alpha stage when the games were ACTUALLY Early Access instead of what most people expect; a mostly polished beta demo that gets optimized. Both games are still adding core mechanics and features and both are falling victim to feature creep because

I still have yet to EVER see one anywhere actually available. I’ve had it on my wishlist for awhile but it’s never in stock.

Thanks. And yeah, this whole thread was just absurd. A Freelance Contractor isn’t a legally protected position anyways so ehh. I was only mentioning how it works for tax purposes. Apparently it makes people very angry to consider the reality of the situation. A Contractor isn’t owed specific protections nor even has

.

I don’t know. That’s why I mentioned way up there about people loving to hate Youtubers lately and even that gets taken as me being an entitled diva playing the victim card. I pretty much just gave up on this thread.

Yeah, that’s the main takeaway. Even if the GOP won, they’re darting their eyes back and forth in terror because it should have been a massive landslide win.

And actually I can’t dismiss my OWN comment so then it just ends up making me look like more of an ass who’s censoring replies. It all has to live on forever now.

I have commenting OCD... I can’t stop checking notifications. Halp.

I’m genuinely curious, how would you assume managing a channel gets listed as work? The occupation is Content Creator and the payer is YouTube via Google. I work seasonally in a power plant and get rigorous background checks so yeah, I have to put that down as employment.

I made ONE comment about “h8terz” but yeah, I was taken out of context and I’m an idiot. Both happen from time to time. Youtubers are freelance contractors / self employed, not protected employees of Google (which is where my out of context part comes in, people took it to mean that’s what I was saying).

Heh, NO. I absolutely do not enjoy the attention and if Kinja had a delete option I would have nuked everything I’ve typed today.

Yeah, paid by them, don’t actually work FOR them, generally treated like crap. :P

You win. I overstepped my position in the heat of the moment while being bombarded with people yelling at me.

Most of what I said is being taken way out of context. My point was youtubers are Freelance Contractors, same way freelancers get work on Tongal or other freelance services. Youtube as a platform wouldn’t exist if users didn’t create the content to drive traffic to their services.

Oh, I don’t overestimate. I’m worthless to them and they’d rather be a platform for corporations to run movie trailers and music videos and late night clips. Most of what I’ve said on this thread is being taken way out of context to my point; youtubers are freelance contractors in a legal sense and are paid by Google,
