that’s kind of an interesting market experiment. I’d be interested to see how it pans out and what kind of side-deal market it creates. I’m worried that it will actually see dealers trading inventory by swapping electric models for ICE and vice versa which will lead to yet more inflated pricing for customers because

so much this. Car enthusiasts have plenty of options for basic transportation before we even start looking at CUVs.

any good brew that spilled or was it just generic water that we shouldn’t care about? What breweries did this come from? I don’t know if I should mourn or just move on with my day.

play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

you don’t seem to understand that if we were to eliminate the regular power plants, your solution is no longer sustainable as your solar panels can’t carry you through the night. we still need power plants to supply the power at night and your solar powers are not doing anything to help with this.

I disagree with you on the merging front. Have you ever heard of the “zipper” effect? Look it up. that’s a proper way to merge, otherwise the traffic congestion artificially takes up more space unnecessarily. What if the sign to merge was posted 20 miles before the place where the lane is closed, should we create 20

Net metering is a wishful thinking but ultimately the problem would be solved if everyone could just store their power produced from solar and only get power from the grid when those stores run out. Unfortunately that’s not there yet.

you’d be part of the problem then unless you go fully off grid and don’t use any of the grid’s electricity during the night. Your solar panels aren’t worth crap when you actually want to charge your EV at night. The problem isn’t not enough electricity, but not enough when the demand his high. Unless you can store

for $15k you can find a reasonably used VW GTI. Great commuter car and when you fold down the rear seats you can transport a lot of stuff. I fit a queen size bed and mattress from Ikea one time.

lol

let me introduce you to the new to you law of “slower traffic keep right”!!!

it would server both the general population and workers better if the construction and lane closures could be done at night.

yeah, ok, I’m the clown for pointing out that unless you’re a midget, your arms are at least 30in long and it will be hard to get hit by an airbag, yet you’re the one that will come out and disagree with a video where a pro driver is recommending a proper sitting position.

true, it’s all safety related but my comment was due to the fact that LostItsWheel seemed to be downplaying the situation as not dangerous because of the referenced altitude of 500 ft.

the airbag is like what, 15 inches from the wheel when it inflates? how far forward did you sit? if you don’t sit like a tiny soccer mom with chest on the steering wheel, you’ll be fine even if your arms are bent a bit. You’ll be more than 20 inches away from the wheel.

yet we live in a country where chocolate eggs with a toy inside are illegal due to “safety”...

a simple sign at the entrance about the membership requirement would suffice. You can also print it on the cart handle if you need to for morons that can’t pay attention and may overlook the sign at entrance.

pilots not always see what’s in front of them, especially if they’re performing an ILS approach in bad weather (SFO isn’t necessarily known for their great weather and it can be fogy there very often). Also, 500ft means they’re not at 500ft above the runway since they haven’t gotten to the runway yet and they’re about

yeah, they could do away with the stupid member card flash at the entrance and the receipt check but otherwise that place is great. I still hate going there as it usually means a $400 trip for what was supposed to be one item but still they’re miles better than Sam’s.

Did you even bother to read any of the text? the answer to your question is literally in the 2nd sentence of the paragraph about the subject.
