"If you've never seen the movie or read the manual"

That's kind of my whole point though...if they don't say it or show it, then what's the point of even claiming your character is gay? It's a trait for a character that doesn't matter at all in most cases, so it's pointless to even shoehorn it in unless you're going to just go balls-out with it.

Little known fact: Most conflicts in the past 1950 years have been resolved with words. Then video was invented and everything went to hell.

Ok, but if I repeat what I've been saying: How do you know your favorite characters AREN'T gay? Most characters don't make it a huge point to say how much they love girls, so instead of assuming they're straight, assume they're gay. Sonic is probably gay. We all know Tails is, right?

And aside from saying or showing the gayness, then how else do you differentiate them from "normal" people?

It's possible and I'm sure it happens, but how many cases are there where the story calls for it? The game in question is clearly not that game; it's pretty obviously a comedy or a caricature, and on purpose. How many games like that are there? Probably equal or less than the serious gay roles. But in either case,

Iiiiiii'm pretty sure being gay steroetyped doesn't equate to racism. You can't really hide being black. Nobody knows you're gay unless you say something or get seen doing something.

You know why people don't want to hear you talk about it? Because look at your audience. They're talking about shit with people they relate with, and if you're the only one in the room talking about rubbing dicks together, it's going to feel weird because they can't relate. So, yeah, of course they're going to feel

Off topic (sorta): Do gay people even LIKE gay porn?

The whole thing is pointless. Nobody cares where you want to put your dick, and it's irrelevant to 99.9% of stories that don't wholly revolve around purely gay characters. When I'm shooting the fuck out of Locusts, I don't stop and think to myself that maybe Baird is gay.

But, you see, then there's no real point. They had to say it. You can't very well SHOW gay realistically without going flamboyant. I know perfect straight dudes out there who have that gay lisp, but that doesn't mean they are. That's the whole problem here: gays don't want to be portrayed as "gay", but then they

But then what's the fucking point of even "saying" the character is or isn't gay? They're just another regular old run of the mill person like everyone else until you feel the need to state that they're gay. Unless you're going to use the sexuality to some means (ie. defining the character) then why bother making

I love how [some] gay people don't want gay characters to be defined by their sexuality. If they took 2 seconds to think about that; gay sexuality is the only thing that makes you different from non-gays. Soooooooo, please explain to me how else you're supposed to express a meaningful way to denote a gay character

Those motherfuckers are using the same font as I'm using for my graphic novel. Great. Now if the game is successful, everyone is going to say "your book is using the Watch Dogs font" in the same way people use regarding the PS3's Spiderman font.

NeoGAF is a cancer to gaming culture.

Doesn't something like this already exist on XBL Indie games?

To me, it looks like the art style is getting in the way of seeing what the hell is going on. The gameplay doesn't look all that compelling either.

I'm not sure where you got the idea Nintendo isn't constantly shit on by Kotaku. I'm pretty sure 95% of the articles here are how Wii U is some kind of failure.

Contrary to popular belief, Hitler did in fact play Crash Bandicoot....a lot.

This actually looks like it could be fun.
