I completely agree. What's worse is pressing start (A often doesn't work) and then having to wait for the menu to load. I mean, who came up with menus that are so complex they not only need to load, but also need their own load screens?

I really really want to see the new Pirates, but the price tag of €11 per ticket (not even IMAX 3D) made me think thrice about it though despite it being the first time I'll be going to theatre in almost 11 years. Eventually though, I decided to go ahead and invited two friends along (yeah, that's €33), but after I'd

Back when I was about 8 or 9 years old I used to use a PVC pipe to shoot tampons (stolen from my sister). Their size was perfect and the plastic wrap around them kept the 'projectiles' shooting out nice and fast even when the pipe got condensation build-up from breathing.

Oh em gee, that chainsaw must be the coolest gadget since sliced bread... its 'picture' has lens flare! If I needed a chainsaw I'd go with an ergonomic one though.

Ctrl/Cmd + F... The first thing that came to mind was "paste in front", but that didn't make any sense. That's when I figured I've spent too much time using Illustrator lately.

Since it's too much to ask for videos that're available internationally, I'll instead of watching those supposedly funny videos tell you I'm currently reading Treasure Island and once finished with that will start on the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I hail from the "countire" of [the] Netherlands, yet am also one of the 31 million US account holders. The US number must be the most inflated one, followed by the Japanese one (I doubt its store is as easy to understand for westerners as their native one's).

I got Portal 2 on PC sort of cheap on the day of release by buying it as a gift from someone else in the US and played it until I got my 360 version. I won't play the PC version anymore until I'm bored with every other game, and even then I won't touch the co-op.

I was about to say I'd rather have a defective one. They're funnier IMO, but I'd still take one of these if they'd look and sound a bit better. Also Atlas & Peabody would be nice to have on my desk.

What if Sony didn't take the service down because of an intrusion but because they found out they had a software flaw on the servers and thought now would be a good time to fix it as they could use the recent attacks as cover?

What's Seagate got to do with Toshiba being a pain?

I agree with what you said, but even though they probably covered outages in the agreements and don't have to give anyone anything, it would be good for Sony's image to compensate everyone or at least those with a Plus subscription (an extra day added to the subscription for every day of downtime).

I was about to make a statement about how it wouldn't matter if the time itself was off as long as the time between pictures was accurate, but I then realized that if the internal clock isn't accurate enough to stay on time it can't be accurate enough for split-second timing either.

It's not 100% but "the first shelves ever to be recycled 100 per cent". So if the thing cost $20, it's 2000 recycled. I like made-up quantities.

This article reminds me I need a new blender. My current one is breaking where the blades hook into the base, and I am starting to crave my coffee-shakes now that the temperatures are nearing 20°C again.

While I don't care about the Wii itself, I am hoping Mr. Pachter's right in saying Microsoft and Sony will follow Nintendo's example when the Wii price gets lowered, as I'll soon be getting a nice big plasma TV (for free) and my current 360 doesn't have an HDMI-port.

I have a 7" widescreen tablet and in landscape it's too low to be convenient when browsing, but in portrait it's too narrow. Thankfully Opera Mobile auto-reflows and auto-scales text and images when zoomed in, but it's nowhere near as nice as my (short) browsing experiences on an iPad.

Same here, plus the Asus one has the keyboard dock-thing which'll come in handy when doing serious browsing/emailing.

The only times I get something delivered at home is when I am 100% sure it'll arrive on a Saturday. If not, I'll always get it delivered at work, and my boss won't ever complain about it as I'm him :) That said, I don't believe any boss should complain about employees getting something delivered at work unless it
