Those are too cool in Halo 3 (haven't noticed in Halo 3 ODST or Halo Wars), especially with the cheer that sounds when you 'score' :)

@TheNick316: Ah thanks man. I had a feeling it was something like that :)

@Worst_Customer_Service_Ever: it will. You can level up to level 5 and then it stops (according to the message in the game). The same for weapons you unlock via the combo card system.

@Coriakin: that, and I'd have to find my drill, a drill bit, plugs, screws and motivation to actually hang the thing. I bet I can get it to work on the floor leaning against a cabinet.

@Whooped.D.Dew: it's basically an XBLA title, so unless I'm wrong there should be a trial.

@jayntampa: it's basically a prologue-style XBLA game, so it thereby requires a free trial regardless of how much the full thing costs.

@Dan2593: sounds to me like they found out about achievements unlocking in the trial of this preview, which isn't a demo but, like the GT5 Prologue, a game on its own.

@Irving94: use the linear lasso tool to draw a selection of the table on the side of Pacman, then (with the Pacman layer selected) create a layer mask on Pacman that hides the current selection. Since that mask will be too sharp-edged, drop a gaussian blur on the mask — experiment until you get the soft edge you

I don't think this one's been done yet (unless someone posted it while I was making it)...

@MrRainMan: I was single at the time, so I wasn't forced to go watch it with a girlfriend. Discovery Channel told me more than I wanted to know (not much) about the Titanic.

@Dayburner: wave your hand behind your butt while putting on an ashamed look, then chuckle a bit uncomfortably and try to quietly sneak away?

@BSartist: In my dream world there are 3.5mm to Micro-USB converters, but if they exist or can be made (affordably) for real ... I have no idea :)

@Channan: splitters could be used.. they could be made cheap as dirt.

@BSartist: would it be any different if they mandate their own proprietary plug though?

Isn't the EU going to require a single power adapter, and haven't the manufacturers decided on mini-USB (or some other USB connector)?

It's an e-reader for speed readers. You can adjust the page turning speed from "woah too fast!" to "one big blur" (from a slow reader's point of view).

@ThisIs3Sick: that's exactly what I was thinking.

@jesbelle: I feel exactly the same way and now I'm just as worried about Android tablets.

Next up: developers/publishers say game prices need to increase to make up for extra expenses due to 3D development. Gamers threaten with boycots but keep buying, even though only single-digit percent can view 3D content.
