@chrisgordon: true, as long as people who are short on cash and opt to wait for the game to get its price lowered can then still buy it new and get the code(s). They'll just have to make sure the codes are worth the extra money.

I've probably gotten some things similar to others by now, but here's a second, more serious take on the cover.

@Fearino: this looks really cool. Maybe you could slip the origami in there somewhere to keep the connection to the killer?

@sneakysnake128: hmm sorry I couldn't actually help. This was my first time posting an image here, so I had to guess when what would happen too :)

@sneakysnake128: instead of "Add an image URL" I picked "Upload an image" as I don't have an image hosting account anywhere. Picking that shows the image above the text you post, I think it just shows a link otherwise.

Since we're working on a new cover for the US-version, I figured I'd kick in an open door before I consider making something worthwhile...

@Jorw: no, out of the 1 million people who downloaded the public beta, almost 400,000 either didn't play or didn't play long enough to get a single skill point. That's quite a big number of people seemingly losing interest in the game rather quickly.

@bananapyramid: if it uses the same technology as the one they use in theatres (James Cameron's Avatar) a lot of people will get headaches.

@ReynaldoRiv: Chrome's cool, but I love AdBlock Plus in Firefox too much to let the long start-up time get to me. I use the wait to light a cigarette and/or make instant coffee.

@spudhed: maybe he's stuck in a train due to snow freezing the tracks? Seems common enough in the Netherlands, and you never know where he is silently killing people...

@Salen: I kind of prefer the wired controller on 360 as there's no battery pack taking up space where my fingers ought to rest.

@Neo1337: opinions on what's vertical and horizontal seem to differ, but this is what's seen in the screenshot is generally considered a vertical split screen (split from top to bottom, whereas a horizontal split screen would be from left to right). Unless I'm mistaken... in which case I'd clearly not be correct.

@slomzenski_j: I feel the same way, but then again, that's how I feel about most games (BioShock 2, ME2, Splinter Cell Conviction) lately. There's too much BS and PR going on, starting way too early on, and then there's either no demo or there is a demo but it's no good.

@McNutsack: I love cars and car shows (esp. Top Gear) but I don't give a crap about what I drive (a '97 Ford Escort stationwagon with a big ding and mis-matching wing mirror and rear bumper) as long as it's cheap and gets me from A to B safely, comfortably and dry.

@iiqulo: I believe the 2 pieces of DLC for AC2 will be only $4 and $5, so if you don't like the first, you won't have "lost" as much money.

I bought this when it came out, after having read about it on Penny Arcade. Loved it, but would've hated it without my Wacom Cintiq (I know, I'm spoilt) and can easily see why people who only have a mouse, and not a pen tablet will only pay the minimum amount. Drawing with a mouse or touchpad is just a pain in the

@Kaddisfly: is that what Sony's calling their wand thingy?

@Wizard: maybe these glasses come with free laser eye surgery if you pay enough for them...

Designing one box is no different than designing any other. It involves the same process, be it for the food industry or bathroom accessories (I've done both, and more) and should take nobody any longer than a couple months just to get everything right.
