@StormTec: That's what Kristin Kreuk actually looks like. Oh wait, looking at the wrong image. Yeah, that's kinda bad, but that must've looked fine on the smaller screens back in '91... right?

@zgreenwell: Young nephews and nieces will work too if you don't have a younger brother :) I bought The Maw, played through the first level and am really looking forward to giving my 6 year-old nephew a call to drop by for some gaming. As long as he doesn't want to play more Spyro that is.

@lllusionx: spiderman doesn't use guns though, does he?

I'd say Alone in the Dark. That game ranks #1 on both my most infuriating games list and my "god I wish I'd never bought it" list.

@HenryHSH: Too obvious if you ask me. Either they can't work in a different style or they're too lazy to try something different.

@BelmontHeir: The problem with the Wii and DS is that its users are more likely to skip on buying something new for it when money's tight, where Xbox 360 and PS3 users tend to be inclined to put aside something else to buy a new game ("casual gamers" vs. "hardcore gamers"). This might put the PS3 and 360 slightly less

@duckmouth: #7 looks a bit like Amy Winehouse's good looking twin to me...

@Bedlam: didn't they say with the new tech it's possible to render a full head of hair on a standard PC? Depending on the definition of a "standard PC", current consoles might be up to the task... for the main character in a game. All other characters would probably still have plastic "oops I used glue instead of hair

Why do (some) game journalists think that everyone involved with "the industry" has to know every fact and name they know? You don't need to know the names of the car designers and the CEOs of car manufacturers to market/PR/sell cars, but when it comes to games, people in those positions are expected to know such

@Laser_iCE: Microsoft put down $50 million to get the DLC exclusively on the 360. Of course they're not going to give it away for free... Whether people'll pay for the DLC is a whole other story though.

Gears 2 in co-op mostly, but also Call of Duty World at War, which I pre-ordered despite the mixed previews and reviews. I'm sure it'll be fun until Tombraider hits the doormat next week.

@peteer02: Dude! I was so going to make a Tomb Raider: Underwear image again. I already did one a while ago, but it wasn't quite as uhm... "fleshed out" as I'd make it this time around ;)

Gaming will mature as the current generations that game get older. Gaming is deemed immature by people who didn't grow up with games, as is proven by governments over and over again.

@Muisee: party chat seems like it'll be great, and HDD installs really are great although now that I have Gears 2 installed (a 10 minute process) my drive is pretty much full again so I'll be upgrading to the 60GB one around Christmas.

@Kenny: EndWar is the first game I know that has a voice trainer so it'll recognize your commands (unlike the Rainbow Six Vegas games where it's more miss than hit), now think how cool it would be if they made a game intelligent so you could do the talking for your character. Using a reply/comment tree like Mass

@atomicstrawberry: won't Gears of War 2 do something related to the achievements of Gears 1? Unlocking more multi-player skins if you finished certain levels or something?

@Noks415: No, there are 6 screens ([kotaku.com]), and they look pretty decent except for number 5 where the guy on the left has plastic jeans on :s

@dojita: Legend was a fun game to play. I didn't care for the collecting coins thing to unlock extra's, but the game was good. I'm somewhat excited about this new one, but the DLC I'll probably not bother with unless it's released before I trade the game in again.

Said Zack Snyder [while wiping a brown substance from his nose with a $100 bill] "Being a long time fan of the games EA creates, I look forward to collaborating with them."

@Falleen9: [halo.wikia.com] but that still doesn't mean much to me... if only the games had had enough of a story to interest me into reading the books.
