I don't see Canon and Nikon stop making entry level DSLR's anytime soon: These companies are really successful with them.

@SEDAGIVE?!: my HDTV sports a 1920*1080 pixel resolution. My computer (laptop) does 1280*800. So, whats wrong with HDTV resolution?

@dj underboob: (cassette) tape is a magnetic medium, just like floppydisks ot the harddrive in your computer. It used to be a common storage medium in the days of the Commodore 64 and the Atari 600XL, which both operated quite digitally.
