Whenever somebody tells me that “deFi is the future,” I point out that in the 1800s, we had banks issuing their own currency backed with gold and that system had all of the exact same problems the crypto industry is running into. “deFi” is past with processors and math poorly glued onto it like a kid attaching googly

When the stock market goes wild it's shut down to prevent heavy losses. Every supposedly free market is rigged.
