The art design here really does just defy superlatives. Granted, part of that is coming off of Beyond Light - which didn’t really do much with it’s ‘yep, basically Hoth’ setting - but whoever it was at Bungie that went ‘you know, if the Dreadnaught was Hive Notre Dame, what does Hive Versailles look like?’ deserves

Thing is with me...i had bought previous expansions and now they are gone.....so there is not chance I will pick up this if it is limited time content

How many moms and daughters do you know who get high on maggots and spit blood in each other’s faces as they laugh hysterically?

I dug “The Deeper You Dig” (which I was able to watch for free without a subscription on Tubi). I wonder if there will be a DVD release with the alternate ending.

In Japan, the types of ableist slurs he used have been directed at disabled children as well as people with mental disabilities.

It’s also important to note that some of the ROMs exist now only because of piracy. Nintendo lost many of the originals precisely due to their reluctance to archive anything and their attempts to restrict anyone else from doing so either. Much of the Satellaview archive is gone forever because Nintendo didn’t keep the

Remember, its always, ALWAYS, good to pirate Nintendo games. They don’t want to sell them and they don’t respect them, why should I. So always jailbreak their shit and load it up with games they can’t take away. If they want to pretend those games didn't exist you can do your part so they are preserved somewhere.

Not sure how you think game development work but rarely is it a royalty system. People get paid to make the game and then are done.  Only one making money after a decade is the corporation who owns it.

Way I see it, it’s not really piracy if the publisher isn’t interested in selling you stuff to begin with.

Are Lego’s solely toys? How about American Girl or any other dolls and their houses for that matter? What about board games? The way you belittle toys is ironically extremely similar to how people think don’t take video games seriously view them. Both are arts? Not every instance of either may be particularly

Legit why I buy as many games as I can from GOG even though Steam is more convenient. The DRM free releases GOG puts out of classic games is a level of art preservation we hardly see anymore.

You're equating videogames with toys. Ernekid is equating  videogames with art - as they should be. Hence, preservation. And no, they aren't overreacting. Not in the slightest!

This. In 2016 I jailbroke my 2ds and it took roughly 2 hours, most of it was checking the integrity of my SD card though. It was still a relatively involved process.

In 2020 I bought a 2DS XL and it took 15 minutes. So glad I did too because Nintendo’s attitude of “Fuck you” when it comes to classic games is

Well lucky for us, the 3DS can be easily cracked with just software and then you can download and play whatever you want. Ethics are a two way street and if Nintendo isn’t going to act ethically about older hardware, we don’t have to either

Piracy is now the only realistic way to maintain video game archival preservation because it is obvious that the Video Games publishers couldn’t give a shit about it.

Apropos of nothing, jailbreaking a 3DS has become really easy and requires minimal investment

yeah, completely agree with this take. haven’t played it near as many times as you, but after about a five year break I jumped back into on the one x and the things that game does well haven’t aged a day.
