I'm very surprised there's no mention of the iLife suite. Ok sure, there's equivalent or better photo and video software on PCs. However since my main machine changed to a Macbook Pro a few years back I've certainly enjoyed using iPhoto and iMovie to make little photo/video projects for family and friends speedily and

Short and snappy and emphasise the USPs of the product compared to other consoles. From the headline I was expecting an absolute trainwreck.

Those in education may remember this service as Wallwisher which has undergone a rebranding.

What about the ones sold in the Apple store? Surely those are unlocked?

Yes! There's where I got mine from too, excellent mag. They're all scanned and online now. Remember the letters page, Mean Yob?

Agreed. I recognise a lot of this stuff from working in direct sales for a couple of years., particularly the empathy part e.g. I know how you *feel*, a lot of other people *felt* the same way, but what they found was....etc etc

I remember distinctly the outrage when a handful of games were priced at £59.99, those being SFII and Super Metroid on the SNES, and SFII Championship Edition on the Megadrive (Genesis).

I wear a Casio Waveceptor. It syncs to an atomic clock in Europe every night to ensure it always has the correct time. It's solar powered too so it'll never need a new battery.

Where I work there's a special magnetic key (it looks like a key fob) that the caretaker uses to open special doors. The little box that programs the fob requires a serial to USB connection. I can't fathom why when a mini-USB connection would suffice.

Don't forget about delayed start. My dishwasher lets you run the cycle delayed by up to 12 hours so it will run at night when electricity is cheaper.

It's spelt STABLE. The number of spelling errors in these posts is getting ridiculous.

When I switched to a Mac a couple of years ago this was one of the first things I worked out. Couldn't imagine life without it. I think Windows 7 has a similar function by hitting the windows key then type the app name, is that right?

Surely this is only useful if Safari is your primary browser on your Mac and by the sounds of it subscribe to MobileMe. I think Instapaper is a more elegant OTA solution.

A good idea, particularly as your phone actually uses more battery in areas with no signal as it's constantly searching for a nearby mast to lock on to.
