This is akin to people driving like assholes because they are late or need to be somewhere. I am all for people’s right to protest, but once you start inconveniencing others on purpose it is just annoying. I am not for hitting people with your car, but I don’t think blocking traffic does what the protestors think it

Just take the excuse for being late for work? No, that’s not the answer either.

So what did the police say when you called them?

So much for the stereotype of EV owners being laid-back and friendly lol.”

I am 100% positive this has never been a stereotype of EV owners. Most EV owners I’ve met, specifically Tesla owners, are uptight assholes or just obnoxious in general. Funny enough, I’ve found hybrid owners more relaxed

100% this. As a longtime EV owner, I’ve been screaming from the rafters that EVs will never proliferate into dense urban areas (where arguably they are needed most and make the most sense) until we can electrify the public parking options. Fast chargers are not a solution to the problem, they are merely a convenience

To be fair, your $80k EV is what contains most of the smarts that controls charging.  So even with a shitty adapter, the EV should be smart enough to prevent any dangerous things from happening.

I won’t judge, because I don’t know their situation. I mean, maybe they’ve got my dog in the car with them. That dog has some serious farts.  ;-)

I hate Hennessey with a burning passion. He is notoriously crooked and shifty, yet every time he gives some generic muscle car of the month 8,000 horsepower and does nothing to the suspension, brakes, tires, etc., all of automotive comes stumbling over each other to see who’ll be the first to report on it.

I know these facts, but I still smell peanut farts constantly on long haul flights.

Yes. Several years before COVID, I traveled a fair bit for work. One stretch was 4 months in a row, West Coast to East Coast and back, once a month. Two of those trips I got sick and now I wish we had masks back then. Sucks being sick on a work trip; even worse if it’s your vacation.

Even so, at least some of your seatmate’s exhalations are going straight into your lungs, so... yeah.

I’ve been wearing masks on flights because I realized that I get sick from some a-hole on the plane every time, and I’d rather not spend my vacation incubating some mouthbreathers pet bugs.

I’ll never cease to be amazed at how quickly conservatives went from sucking Trump’s cock because the Covid vaccine was made available during his presidency and saying what a medical miracle it was, to immediately doing a complete 180 when Biden won and saying how it’s going to kill you and turn you gay or w/e.

The irony is, the other passenger was protecting themselves from people like THIS guy sitting next to them unvaccinated for hours breathing the same recirculated air. Who knows how many others like him DIDN'T get off...

I think I will mask up for every airplane flight for the foreseeable future if it pisses off infants like this.

How did the explanation of mask wearing get so screwed up? I wear this for your protection, just say thank you!

This story is emblematic how so many people in this country love freedom for themselves, but then refuse to grant that same freedom to others. I am sure he cited ‘freedom’ as a reason not to get vaccinated. But then here he denies this other person freedom to wear a mask.

Why are you still giving them press after this? https://jalopnik.com/ex-employees-say-hennessey-is-a-bigger-mess-than-you-ev-1778134112

I guess ripping all those people off was worth it in the end.
