I didn’t want it to be like an automatic I wanted it to be like a proper manual gearbox. Instead I get 2 second delays between the time I tell it to shift and it actually shifts and plenty of occasions where the car just won’t let me choose the gear I want.

It’s essentially a clunkier automatic, it doesn’t let me shift when/how I want. It’s basically got every flaw that a slushbox does with the exception of the loss from the torque converter.

I appreciate that it’s a hatch but I’m gonna pass just because It’s stuck with the awful DSG which is the thing I hate most about my A3.

Not a chance in hell I’d ever share a meal with a 9/11 “truther” family or no.

And I’d be willing to bet these tools have a smug sense of superiority talking about their neighbors who are young earth creationists. Seriously you’re no different or better you just choose different science to deny.

Well if you’re going to really get technical any U.S. Air Force Aircraft that has the President aboard is Air Force One. If he’s flying in another service’s aircraft it’s Army One, Navy One or Coast Guard One respectively. If it’s a non-DOD (civilian or executive branch) aircraft it’s “Executive One”

Right, the President will always fly in a VC-25, always, without exception.

Now playing

While I appreciate the certainty of your answer I still believe you are wrong. I think it would be foolish for any President to completely go against the advice of the Secret Service it’s not like they are going to physically stop him.

I had a car insurance claim a few months ago and my insurance (USAA) asked me if I was using the car for a ride sharing service. I believe they also offer a rider for people who use their cars for these services but I have no idea how much that costs.

Pretty sure he could technically do whatever he wants, he could use his own plane or he could fly commercial.

That was so worth it.

I am presently downloading the best navigation system voice prompts... in the world.

I’m usually very negative on the subject of unions in America and the UAW in particular but this was really well written and given me some thinking to do.

Not to nit-pick but you could only get a CX-5 with a manual if you were willing to take a stripped down model. If you wanted one above the bottom trim level you were stuck with the slushbox.

Maybe, just maybe he should have thought of this when he was bending over backwards to make sure that arguably the most disliked person in politics got the Democratic Party nomination.

IIRC a “score” is 2o so it would be “twenty three score and seven horsepower” and “twenty one score and three horsepower”

I usually bash GM/Chevy but I gotta tell you I’m intrigued by the Bolt, if they don’t F up the interior I’ll seriously consider it for my next car.

I was watching that chase on the news before bedtime, didn’t see the end but the chase was very slow, I was wondering if he was on a full size motorcycle or a 50cc scooter.

Why oh why couldn’t we have had these two guys running for President?

Well I don’t think Obama could have gotten away with rolling in an Escalade that’s for sure.
