I didn’t say anything about laws. I’m talking about having autonomous cars available for commutes like that, not forcing them on everyone.

That’s where I disagree. On the open road, I want to be driving. If I’m creeping along at 2 mph stop and go...give me the chance to do something productive with my time.
Exactly. My commute every day is one that was featured on this site a while back, I believe, as one of the 10 worst in the US. It can take me an hour to creep forward a few miles. I don’t care what car I’m behind the wheel of; that is never, ever going to be remotely fun. There’s also, despite the pathetically low…
And I have just learned that there is a foxgirl vocaloid coming. <3
Yes, it’s a prequel to the movie. The bad guy in it is the son of Immortan Joe in the movie.
Really, it’s better than “ok”. It’s “very good, with very reasonable flaws”, most of those flaws for the most part being choices deliberately made to make the game something the fans wanted, and not a mainstream AAA game. It’s love it or hate it. Love Mad Max, you’ll love this. Don’t care about Mad Max, stay away,…
Effectively, yes
No, it’s really not. You’re seeing a game that’s being praise for running -beautifully- on fairly modest PCs, despite having pretty high end graphics. Like the game or not, lets be fair to Avalanche here. This is well done.
sorry, responded to the wrong comment
Not sure what the issues with Windows 10 are. I’ve been playing for hours with every setting maxed (admittedly on a fairly, though not insanely, high end system) without a single issue.
Someone using their mouth is very unlikely to result in mass deaths.
Whaaaat? This is the first I’ve heard of this. Oh...there are -so- many tears coming...
That’s how I read it, too. Makes a lot more sense that way...and it’s that much more of a tearjerker.
You insist that it’s a right, not a privilege, and bring up that it’s right after the 1st Amendment, but you’d just stated that it isn’t a right because it’s an Amendment. So, again, why is it a right? What gives you the right, at birth, to own a gun, any more than a right to own a car, to keep with the same example?
Why? That’s easy. I’ll fight for any right, but I don’t believe that carrying firearms is or should be a right. Everyone has the same rights, and if the “right to bear arms” is one, than anyone...no matter how mentally ill, unstable, aggressive, hateful, or downright evil...has it. I don’t think that having it written…
You’re born with the right to bear arms, because it was written down by people over 200 years ago? (People who were, essentially, the first government employees, and granted those rights?) What about people who were born before then...were they still born with that right?
No, they are not equivalent, because, as you said, carrying a gun is considered a right...and that’s insane. Not everyone has the temperament, self control, or training to safely carry a gun. This is something people should need to prove that they can handle. (And for the record, I’m strongly in favor of a lot more…
Driving is a privilege. Drivers need to be tested and licensed (admittedly not tested enough), cars are registered and insured. Someone who can not safely operate a car can have that privilege revoked.
This sounds like the kind of game that would turn me into a complete wreck...and the king I absolutely won’t be able to resist if it gets an English release.
This is the one that was run aground back in ‘96.
