It’s so true! It’s definitely hard, but damn it feels good to stand up for yourself and get the treatment/answers you need.
Yay! Glad to make you smile; hope your day picks up from here!!
I mean, with these choices, Slytherin is the only house having even a little bit of fun.
Good luck to you, too!
Oh, I don’t think anyone’s being lazy. I think they are actually all so used to talking people off a cliff that are panicking totally without cause, that it’s been hard for them to shift gears and realize I *do* need the test. That coupled with me seemingly being the first person most of them are running into who…
Thanks! I just got confirmation that I’ll get the test on Thursday at a local hospital. It did take some wrangling—they wanted to send me for yet another consult/ultrasound, but I put my foot down and referenced these CDC guidelines and so they scheduled the bloodwork for Thursday.
Thank you for your outrage on my behalf! It helps me feel less like a crazy person.
I think everyone is so used to telling panicky who haven’t left New England in the past 2 years, but have seen one-too-many “News at 10: Deadly Zika Virus: Special Report” that *they* don’t need zika testing, that these doctors have no…
Thank you! As luck would have it, I just got off the phone with the hospital and I’m getting the test done on Thursday.
At first they were trying to confirm an ultrasound and said that if *this* doctor thinks I need the zika testing then they’d schedule it after my (totally unnecessary) ultrasound. But I busted out…
I am 6 weeks pregnant (yay) and I actually got knocked up when my husband and I were in Jamaica. Last week I went to two different doctors to try and get zika testing, and no one even knows how to do it! They keep pushing me off because they have no idea how to deal with it, and I know getting the results take 3-8…
With underwire. It's super well padded, so it doesn't poke out and hurt or anything.
(I do love old navy workout pants.)
36H here and a runner. I LOVE my panache sports bras. Anyone who recommended Champion or Old Navy for a busty woman really fails to understand physics. Comparing those w Panache is like comparing a butter knife from a college cafeteria to a chefs knife. Not even in the same league.
I love the ‘but it was a JOKE’ excuse rollout. You, sir, are a terrible human being and are an me embarrassment to us all. Oh, did that hurt your feelings? But it was totally just a joke! Lighten up.
Right, because you and your husbandhave discussed and want another child. If he got a vasectomy, it’d be a radical departure from what you two have discussed and planned. You’d have a right to be pissed, but also it’d still be his right to make his own decisions about his body.
The way I read it, he talked w her and she preferred he hold off, but he wanted to do it anyway. Personally, I didn’t get a ‘surprise, I got a vasectomy’ vibe.
But if a woman wanted to have her tubes tied with tin two days of a pregnancy scare, we'd support her! It's his body and not my place to judge.
I agree with almost all of these points, and I want to thank you for holding a civilized discussion about politics on the internet—which I feel like is about as rare as the dodo bird these days.
I wouldn’t call HRC a progressive, but I’m exhausted by all the voices I hear saying she and Trump are both terrible choices,…
I didn’t say Bernie was bad on all of those issues (and I’m from Maine, so I actually understand his stance on guns re: his constituency). But the argument I keep hearing is that Bernie is to the left of Hillary on everything/she’s basically a republican, and that’s just not true. There are some important issues where…
Yeah that ‘high crime area’bit?!?! Omfg I'm done with Bernie.
