I feel your pain, I am trying to get a new license specially so I can vote in the midterms. I don’t remember it being such a pain in the ass, I need three proofs of Address, my old license, my social security card, my military ID, and an original birth certificate. 

I tried to sign my lease a week early to be eligible to vote in this primary. Unfortunately, I needed to get my Michigan drivers license to apply online, and there wasn’t a way to do it in time. Dammit Michigan, I didn’t escape Steve Freaking King to have this jackwagon as my Senator.

I’m seeing in the comments that they make $11/hr. When I was hired in 1999, I was hired at $12. That’s insane.

This is disgusting but not surprising. Predators look out for kids who are already in a tight spot to exploit. This is probably going to get worse before it gets better as more and more shelters are built and set up across the United States.

I try to find hope in the current political landscape; to think about how many people are trying to make things right. But this makes me so FUCKING angry. All these DHS centers need to be torn down; these people need to be fired or prosecuted or both.

That’s interesting, My experience is at Home Depot hard to find employees and when you do they have to ask a different person who seems to be the only one with knowledge and there is a line of other employees and customers in line to ask him questions.

Local shops are no guarantee of ethical behavior. In fact sometimes they can be worse, because if they have a low-enough employee count, they don’t have to obey certain workplace laws that bigger outfits must follow.

Shop wherever you want. The question you should be asking, is who you should VOTE for. Because that is what changes things.

Must’ve been in the ‘90s that Home Despot was running commercials about how much experience their employees had working in the industries that related to the departments they worked in in the stores. A twenty year plumber would help you pick out the right parts for your DIY job. That sort of thing.

As a white man, I fully endorse the idea that people of color and women need to take things over and fix them. We’ve had a good run, and we’ve done nothing but fuck things up, generally. Have at it.

If someone other than a white man is chosen during the primaries, the swing states will have to pull up their Big Kid Pants and get over their inherent racism and/or misogyny. 

I am so tired of people from the Dem party telling me and other candidates and anyone who’ll listen, that only white men can win. I am so fucking sick of this.

The more sexually and racially diverse seeking membership the better. Also a younger demographic is essential.
