You do realize that the hardware that is powering a device has a direct correlation to the price, right? But since you brought it up, here's three different benchmarks, instead of solely testing with linpack - which, just fyi, is more a test of java, not the physical hardware. I actually wouldn't imagine any Android

What's yours overclocked to? I can't push mine past 800 core, or I crash out of certain games (BioShock).

On Linpack, which didn't even utilize both cores, unless I'm mistaken. But in every other respect, the Tegra is faster. Also, more RAM, Nvidia GPU, expandable persistent storage, etc. It's not all about the CPU.

Invisible ink. Really?

@vinod1978: The iPad is the fastest... oh, wait.

I can play anything with my GTS250 as well, just not at the frames/res that I would like to be seeing. I was actually surprised when I got 50 fps in Crysis 2 @ 720p. That being said, I have a 1080 monitor, and would've rather played it in 1080, but when I bumped up the res, my frames shot down into the 20s. That

I don't think it would be considered a "lolshooter". Also, DN3D and Postal don't have much in common. Shadow Warrior actually scared the crap out of me when I first played it. Anyway, since it was asian-themed, there were several pachinko machines around various levels that you could play to get ammo or health,

Do any of these perform better than a GTS250?

There's a distinctive difference between a mild hyperbole exaggeration and a purposeful mis-reporting of the truth (encroaching on defamation). This difference is not lost on techies, as it apparently is with the rest of the community.

I also would've looked if it said "ATC Saves First Lady From Certain, Explosive Destruction"

pachinko machine of doom? Someone's been playing too much Shadow Warrior.

I think TF2 was the largest influence, honestly.

People tend to expect more from Valve, honestly. So the bar is set pretty high. Also, the price of games are on wholly different standards than other forms of entertainment. Trying to compare them is just folly.

So it wasn't really the ATC's fault, nor did they do anything wrong, as they had the plane attempt S turns, and when that didn't cause a wide enough gap, they had the plane circle around again so it wouldn't crash.

@Ethereal87: Ad campaigns and the actual ingredients convinced me.

I was the exact opposite. I just wouldn't eat. Not because I wasn't hungry, but because hunger took the sidelines to whatever epic battle I found myself in.

When did Legos get so amazing?

Unless you're on the WoW diet.
