Yeah, there's a bunch of little things in Chrome which just make it so strange using anything else - like url bar auto guess/complete, tab re-sizing only after you've moved the mouse, and as you've mentioned, find-as-you-type.
You guys do realize that most fruits, including apples, are good sources of potassium, right?
I tried the beta a while ago, but it really didn't offer me anything that Chrome can't already do better (aside from the extensive about:config).
