I have a feeling that this is going to become one of my favorites. It already has three of my favorite actors/actresses already.

I don't think "clicking speed" is the reason most people buy performance mice. Smoothness and accuracy (DPI), weight and shape, and extra configurable buttons are the reasons I would go with. Most games don't require insane amounts of clicking (excluding Diablo, DotA, LoL, certain RTSs). And even in those games

@casen: I think it was just to point out how regular food items contain small amounts of radiation. I doubt there's much of a difference between a banana and an apple.

It's not really the fault of Valve, or TF2's gameplay on the console, or the community. It was the fault of Microsoft making Valve charge for updates. Valve felt that players should be receiving these updates for free. So, because they were unable to push updates, TF2 just ran the course of a normal game on the

But how much better is the Elven Waraxe? What if the Elven Waraxe costs three times as much as the Iron Waraxe, but only does 5% more damage? This is more important in today's MMOs than it is in single-player RPGs, due to a virtual economy, but if you didn't have the numbers you wouldn't know that you were getting

Ever try to swat a fly away with your tail?

My Pulse reader is telling me I shouldn't care.

There were still damage calculations going on in Zelda and Morrowind. They just weren't flying past your screen in an SCT format. I mean, if you don't want to know which weapon/ability has the most efficient damage output, that's up to you - but I like the numbers, honestly.

@Norbs: Only when you don't have it ;)

It's not an evolutionary advantage. It's just evolutionary. Our fingers aren't "advantageous", they are simply "good enough" to not get us killed (for the most part).

Very good!

Well, if I wanted to visit a site simply to troll ridiculous articles all day I'd go to reddit or 4chan. I'd like to expect at least a sliver of journalistic competency when I come to Giz. Call me crazy.

I can't see the image :(

I want to see it bend even a fraction of an inch when placed in an iPad frame.

It's only a form of democracy because someone decided that we can call an elected republic a type of democracy - representative democracy, to be exact. It makes people feel warm and fuzzy, living in a democracy. I remember when I found out about the Electoral College in my teens, and it spurred me on to do further

OMG! I just realized fingers fit inside nostrils! This is definitive proof that fingers were designed to dig noses. Imagine the scientific progress that can be made from this simple discovery!

@pjc.mashtun: But it's nice to have actually interesting articles to read when I come here.
