It's pretty much where the super talented go to write super amazing, super serious things. Obviously GT. The only funny pieces I've seen that come out of it are LaComtesse's.
lurkerbunny posted most of my fav SF and they are wonderful, but check out Diana Wynne Jones. Most of her stuff is gold. Her books are funny, well written, and surprising. I like her adult books as well as her children's books.
I feel so blessed.
I've known sociopaths though. They are way better at hiding it than he is and it took me years to figure out what was up with them.
I swear, it all sounds like it was cobbled together by committee. I'm not keen on bluegrass, but I will take to modern country.
I was stuck on, "French is a race to you?"
BUT MINE WAS.
Jimmy Durante is the uncle I never had. Ron Perlman honestly could be one of my relatives.
Meanwhile Jaden is more mu speed. Horror, sadness and dismay mixed together.
I have suddenly become way less comfortable with Pygmalion as a story.
I have a couple of old friends who used to volunteer at those places. They honestly believe that bull that they are peddling,* and they believe they are trying to do a good thing. I have never asked them about their time there, or what they said for fear I will hate them.

I have one sister who is just amazing. We have a small business together. We nerd out of over everything, and for the most part she gets me.
If want to see it staged for cheap, get The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall. It's worth it, though alas they don't drop the chandelier. Also the background is this awful computerized thing, but still it's worth it. I've been a long time fan of Dr. Horrrible. I even watched when it was first released on a…
The Doctor From Voyager. We'd snark, drive each other nuts and it would be glorious. Also he'd be perfect to deal with my moments of hypochondria, and would probably force me to do whatever I need to be doing.
How does that happen?
I have a problem with jewelry because I can remember who gave me what piece. I haven't managed to get rid of the things my estranged brother gave me yet. There's a part of my head that goes, "Yes, you can't stand his psychopathic nastiness, but maybe one day he's get therapy and meds. And maybe he'll change and stop…
We have the same Mom and same quirk clearly.
