Another thing to note is the breadth of switches there are to choose from on boards like these while most off the shelf boards in MicroCenter or what have you are limited to Cherry MX there are a bunch of other choices out there (like Gateron Clears GIVE EM TO ME) and also custom keycaps are also a huge thing. PCGamer

basically it all comes down to customizability and comfort. These boards are for people who want everything just right and will spend the money to get it just right. I have a k70 right now and it works fine for me but I do miss out on features like fully programmable keys, nicer switches, a better base, and a

Ok. The keyboard is fully programmable. Want volume functionality? Add it! Want function keys? Add it! The whole point of this keyboard is being compact and a joy to use. Adding volume keys is in direct conflict with their goals.

It’s not just the case that matters or anything like that. Build quality can mean the PCB controlling everything or the switches themselves. Cheaping out in a place like that can make a board go to crap real quick, and I think you’re gonna care about your build quality in that situation, no?

Build quality is much better than a big box brand IMO. Form factor is all preference and that is the driving factor I think. I believe the minimalist trend has the 60% keyboards being a very popular choice because they look clean and have a small footprint on your desk.

I’ve bounced around fullsize, TKL, 75%, 60%

Too bad they don’t offer the option for side printed keys.

I love all these customs, and I drool over them on Massdrop, but I’m a simple graphic designer that uses a full 104 key slim Mac keyboard.

I like the slenderness, the clickiness of the keys and the fact that it has 2 USB ports (which Apple has since done away with) Is there anyone out there that can suggest a

What’s your point? The back button is one of the main reasons I prefer Android. And many Apple users who have switched to Android have told me they really like having the back button.

I am frustrated to no end by iPhones and iPads. I see how the design could be nice for some users, but going back, and finding settings, and accessing notifications and such... ugh.

I don’t have any trust issue with my back button on my Android phone though... And I definitely find it very, very useful.

shitty how? just because its not anchored to a 4k tv? running on an overpriced underpowered pc?

You don’t need to “jam” the signal to block or reduce it. You just have to turn the store into a Faraday cage. Many buildings do this already due to the way they’re constructed, though it’s typically not intentional.

They don’t need to manipulate anything as such. They could just line the walls and windows of their stores with grounded sheets of metal foil.

Definitely illegal. Intentionally jamming cellular signals is a huge FCC no-no.

There is no way they would be allowed to prevent you from using your regular cell service in their stores. That’s got to be illegal.

Or if your friends have a XBoxs, iPads, Switches, and/or PCs then maybe you look to buy one of those. There’s only one scenario where it might benefit them and even in that scenario you are still playing in your walled garden while everyone has the rest of the world to play in.

Not really, it only helps. If all your friends have ps4's and you have a pc or xbox or what not and you now can no longer play with your friends, guess what ? You’re gonna have to break down and buy a ps4. It’s more of a clever form of marketing by using peer pressure. They know they have a large install base, they

But this sort of decision could only hurt them, so it still seems odd.

I’ll be honest, I forgot it was supposed to come out this year and I was one of the first 1,000 Kickstarter backers. I don’t think I ever really expected to see it before 2018 or 2019 tbh.

Pokken Tournament is fucking awesome, but I was really hoping for more than just another tweaked port... Even if Gold and Silver were coming as the first games in the VC for the Switch
