If the name of the system will prevent you from buying or enjoying it, you seem to have a lot of problems that are non-gaming related.

I mean, the unfriendly Xbox fans didn’t call people ‘peasants’ in this conversation, so they’ve got that going for them.
What the fuck are you on. He’s talking about people who know jackshit about console. You obviously completely missed the point and starting blasting the guy completely ignoring his point.
How many people bought WiiU games for their children’s Wii only to have a whole disappointment everytime? A fucking lot of people.…
Millions of people a year get 1000 dollar phones for Christmas. 500 bucks for a lot of people is on the table for sure. Consoles at 400-600 bucks have always been very common gifts.
There naming is far from clever. For a company that wants to sell their system world wide, they need to use a name that works for all countries. MS has tries so hard to make it work in Japan, but this takes the cake.
“They are far more geeky and nerdy, whereas Sony is all like “look at me, I am so mature, I am so edgy, none of that wussy colorful family friendly stuff, all for grown-ups”.”
Don’t get your identity politics mixed up with buying a 300-500 dollar video game console. You sound, charitably, stunted.
There’s definitely going to be a ton of confused parents and disappointed kids this Christmas.
Man I can’t wait for all the confusion this holiday season when parents mistake the Xbox Series X with Series S. They virtually sound the same, but the series S is a budget Xbox x 1.5 lol. I don’t know who is running their marketing/naming team over there.
I still hate EVERYTHING about the Xbox naming scheme.
Reason number 256034 I won’t be buying an Xbox:
What you’re saying is completely undermined by Epic suing Google as well.
Honestly, this type of intellectually dishonest bullshit pisses me off as a lawyer (even if I am a totally different kind of lawyer). Every single person involved, not to mention all observers, know exactly what’s going on - Apple has semi-dictatorial control over its platform, Epic wanted more money and to be able to…
Wait... So their new argument is that all-powerful Apple is hindering their own ability to become all-powerful?
So in other words, Apple is bad, help us so we can become just like Apple.
People love to feign ignorance thinking that BLM means only black lives, or black lives matter most. It’s very telling that this is their default assumption, it says a lot about the way they think.
You’re right. wypipo constantly finding ways to make performances of themselves to seek the attention they so desperately crave.
Shut up.
Aloy was the first video game character that I actually felt proud of by the end of the game. Not because I personally felt accomplished for finishing the game through her (which I did, anyway), but because I really felt invested in her growth as a character. It was clearly a team effort with Guerrilla, but I truly be…
Well like many high school children, I chose to do it. It was very easy to do, because military recruiters are masters of the hard sell. Whether or not my military career afforded me a better life or not is pretty debatable, but at least I got to see the hindquarters of Iraq and I can fix a SINCGARs radio?
