Fair enough. I’ve heard that those earlier games are good, but to be honest, I’ve had a hard time getting myself to want to play anything older than X because of the graphics. Now, if this remake of VII happens, that will change things.

Agreed about the combat, I loved it. It had the potential to get a little stale, but you could always change your weapon, combat style, or both to fix that. And on the fly, no less.

I don’t know if it’s really that cut and dry. I’m a long time fan (although I’ve only played through X, XII, XIII, and FFTA/FFTA2), and I thought it was the best I’d played out of all of them, despite some admittedly lacking story content that is now being added to.

Don’t forget about the soundtrack. Incredible. Probably the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard, and it helps add a lot of emotion in places where the game admittedly lacks proper build-up.

Not really that weird. Look at the table they are sitting on moving back and forth. It makes sense that over time, they would all sync up to the movements of the table. Once a few of the metronomes sync up to the initial movement of the table and the table then gains a more stable, powerful cycle, the rest of them…

Really a bummer that a company wants to streamline and make things easier for themselves by not continuing to update old junk. Can’t believe they would exercise control over their own product like that.

You would think that if this were a very widespread issue, Ford would notice that their inventory of Focus RS head gaskets is much higher than it should be, and ideally correct the problem.
