Waitwaitwait, are you telling me that people are surprised to find that a young, unemployed male averages 8.6 hours per week of video games? How is that at all surprising?! That’s less than an hour and a half per day! What do they do in their other 14 waking hours?

I must try this at home. Where can I find someone to shell me a tank for cheap?

How is this a Golf and not a Passat? It’s basically VW’s version of the Audi Allroad, which I believe are built on the Passat platform. This seems way bigger than any Golf...

I believe you’re right, if I’m interpreting what they’re saying correctly. Sounded like they were saying, “Although we prepared the car for low drag (which almost always means low downforce, or at least less downforce than you would get with more aero and the accompanying drag), we are still down on horsepower, so

We really got a boatload of puns going here.

10/10 would knot recommend.

I must say, 1050 miles is not halfway across the country. It’s not even halfway from Seattle to Dallas (which is a long drive, let me tell you).

That said, I have always enjoyed long road trips. Glad yours went well, aside from the blowout! I agree, more people should take a long trip like that at some point in their

Wow, they’re making this real confusing haha

Oh, I see. So the S5 Coupe/Cab will have the supercharged 3.0L and the S5 Sportback will have the turbo 3.0L, yes?

What’s this then?

Makes sense. Is that for 2018? I just looked on Audi’s website, and it still says supercharged 3.0L. Not that I don’t believe you, but I couldn’t find any articles or press stuff on it.

I (read: wikipedia) could be wrong about this if they’ve changed things for this year, but the S5's engine is actually supercharged, not turbocharged, despite being called “TFSI”. Also, it makes 329hp. The V8 makes 349, but that was only an option from 2007-2012.

Agreed, humans have problems everywhere. Plenty of things on this rock we need to deal with! But I, for one, would love to see the human race branch out to other celestial bodies. It’s not likely to happen anytime soon, but I don’t think that is a reason to shift focus away.

Here’s a seemingly unmolested one for sale at a reasonable price in Seattle.

First, I don’t disagree with you on the importance of ocean exploration. However, I think there is a bit of a greater purpose to space exploration and technology, which Elon Musk has talked about as part of his vision for founding SpaceX. That purpose is the survival of the human race. We could spend decades and

It’s not so much for repairs exactly, but Engineering Explained has an incredible channel for understanding how things work, and it’s extremely noob-friendly!

“I used that as a more reasonable weight of the car considering the weight of driver and fuel.”

Not sure where you got that figure on semi drag coefficient, but according to this study, it’s about 0.8 with no aero, and ranges from 0.5-0.7 with aero, depending on the configuration.

That said, I do not disagree with your points.

Or maybe have the DMV start doing psychological evaluations on elderly drivers every few years or so. Old people do some scary things behind the wheel, but as far as I know, there’s no real regulation on when they need to stop driving. If you’re gonna regulate when people start driving, you should at least do
