Sounds to me he’s probably had a lemon, which is unfortunate, but they’re still great cars when in clean conditions and respectfully modded. A supercharged XF is a superb car, btw

The M3 is indeed a real car. In terms of driving experience, feel, etc. It’s just not to those who happen to trash talk it. Aside from rod bearings and HPFP, it’s pretty reliable.

The steering feel in Minis are still there. 

What’s funny about that? They are fairly reliable and make for absolutely great daily’s and track day machines. Porsche knows what they’re doing, imo. Classics are still on the road today. With given fair treatment and care, any car can be on the road for longer.
