I do know what you’re talking about, and Porsche could’ve done better with the base 911, but the GT trims are still the top forces that are world class in terms of performance and the all-out driving experience. As for the base version, it can still unleash those capabilities of a sports car on the road, when you can

Uh...it still is. Especially in the GT trims. The 911 was always meant to be a performance GT since day 1.

It’s a shame, because everyone who has either test drove/leased the 718 cayman, has literally loved the car for its mid engined chassis, handling, performance, and steering. The only real downslide was the turbo 4, imo.

Well, you could go out and give the 718 Cayman GT4 a try or you could wait until the next generation boxster/cayman twin models come out, because it sounds like 718 isn't for you.

I bet it’ll come alive even more in sport mode. It’s a luxury sport roadster, so Porsche values ride quality as well.

Oh, and it depends on what mode you put the 718 in.

Everyone that has reviewed a 718 has said that its the best mid-engined chassis with tons of agility. Jalopnik even said that it drives like the “Superior Porsche”. The steering has been praised as well. EPAS will feel like that, but Porsche has figured out how to make a responsive EPS system. As much as I love BMW, I

When I say a Flat 6 Porsche Boxster, I’m talking the new 718 with the Flat-6. Not a used 981 or 987. Those are great cars as well, but still. Sure, it’ll be pricey, but it’ll be lively.

“Although in general i think modern European cars tend to give you a too filtered driving experience.”

Then you might want to give the flat 6 boxster a try.

I’d bet the new gen ZL1 is a different monster. The handling and steering are both sharpened in the new ZL1. More so the ZL1 1LE will scare the living hell out of your pants.

We are all fucked if he wins 2020.”

Gotta love the Barkleys

Yeah the GT350 is a brilliant machine, and sadly wouldn’t be fit for a DD, but it still is a hell of a machine. If anything, there’s always the GT PP2, it’s just a mild version of the GT350.
