I’m not criticizing GM for the mind they have, had Chevrolet used their mind with a proper dose of marketing around the world, this would’ve been selling like hot cakes in many markets.

Oh and for steering, I’m not saying that the EPS is lifeless or anything. It can get pretty sweet with some updates. I’m saying they should have the naturality from factory.
I never went full armchair and never will. I’m perfectly fine with BMW making the X SAVs to stay profitable, but I also think that BMW needs the bigger spark in them like they used to, so that they wouldn’t just appeal to the everyday luxury daily crowd, but they’ll also appeal to the enthusiasts. What I mean by that…
That Supercharged LT4 V8 will never get old and gotta admit, the ZL1 1LE’s hella performance for just at 60k around is a awesome deal.

“3 series is great, the F30 led the segment for all its lifecycle. They they goofed with the steering feel in the early models, yes. Was it fixed with the sport package of the LCI model, yes. By all account the G20 steering is excellent.”

That was back then and as much as I loved and still love sedans/sports cars/wagons/etc., everyone and their mother loves crossovers to the point where there are one or two at best on every single driveway right now. It’s just the sad truth. I too hope one day we go back to low riding cars.

If only you were the CEO, you’d do wonders to the brand. Just the simple things that need tweaking...A lot of it!! From there onwards, create perfection from the drawing board all the way to the factory floor...

Very great points there, though I will get some things straight:
Sorry for the rant.
Sure, Corvette will always be of value, no denying that. As for your take on Porsche being “unimaginative, cold, and lacking in soul”, personally for me, Porsches have been brilliant at being understated, elegant, yet killer in performance, it’s the beauty of a Porsche. I prefer blending in than trying to be flashy,…
Then you haven’t had a go in a higher trim Porsche. The normal Porsches will definitely be refined and not as fast, but are still a blast. The GT3/RS’s driving experience has got to be one of the most rawest driving experiences out there, even more purified and excited with a professional. Same with a 918 and pretty…
We also find Corvettes to be dumb as well.
I wouldn’t say Saabs were shitboxes...They’re pretty brilliant when it comes to both the driving experience as well as innovation in tech. Audis are cool. Jalopnik isn’t just some shit city for shitty car that losers want. There are Jalops out there that have good tastes in cars. It’s the uniqueness the cars…
The reason BaT says that is because a lot of people that have no clue about cars buy these gems and abuse them without maintaining them. Those same people have no clue how the car works or even know how to wrench properly, before they got it. Another issue is people think they can go without changing fluids or…
