@Slinkytech: Pot is not addictive on a physical level like alcohol can be.

@Guizzy: i forget what the chemical in red wine is called, but IIRC it clears out the excess glucose in your cells in the same way a long term low calorie diet does.

@Slinkytech: This is pretty much the same argument I have for the legalization of marijuana. That, and I'm in the military and I'd love to be able to smoke every once in a while.

@EnemaBagJones: You are correct, you can't get the EVO on any other carrier. But if you were to purchase apps through the Android market and you switched to a different Android device on a different carrier, you can transfer all of those apps to the new device. This may not be a huge deal for most $.99 apps, but…

@Xeraphim: like i'm about to do next week. :-) also, i'd say the same about a decent number of RIM users on the verizon network... it seems a lot of storm users have been switching to the android platform due to dissatisfaction with their (once promising) devices.
