It's weird in all the right ways.

The first 2/5ths of the car is an ugly tragedy, it reminds me of that lady who couldn't stop herself from getting more plastic surgery. The last 3/5ths is boring. It's hard to make an orange car boring, but Lexus did it somehow from the A pillar back.

the details are seriously great. the car as a whole is not.

Por que no los dos?

The only thing I don't like is the weird inlet holes on the bumper. He could have just smoothed it in a fashion similar to how singer does their porsches - subtle and modern - but instead they call attention to themselves with the size and polished metal. Otherwise, a very nice car.

They probably don't use enough [ ]

Came for the interior, staying for the........ interior

Ciel hardtop will earn you a buyer right here. Anything else is a disappointment.

It doesn't matter to the buyers right now - it's nothing more than a bragging right, to say they have one when others who have the means don't because they couldn't.

Ultimate resto-mod. It's too bad muscle cars don't get this level of detail put into them.

I think the saying goes:

Something about the nose on it. I feel like somehow a car is reaching into the uncanny valley.

I think it looks weird because it's a wedge car with all the edges rounded off. It's profile is shaped like a Lancia Stratos, but all the details are round like a 70s Alfa Romeo GTV - with a little bit of koenigsegg thrown in to the engine cover. If the front end was more muscular than angular in profile, it would

Can.......can I touch it?

My first "real" (as in I had a real job and wanted to buy a new-to-me car that wasn't a beater) - and positive - car buying experience was getting a 2005 Nissan Titan LE back in 2009. The dealership had the exact truck I had been looking for, but it wasn't advertised so it was total coincidence I found it.

How I wish Lincoln could get their ish together. If they could do a Cadillac Ciel but go all Continental on it, I would be at the dealership beating the doors down.

Has RR quality interior quality improved over the last few years since the diverger from Ford? I had on loan a 08 RR sport for a month and while it was nice enough, it had 30K on the clock and the interior was already squeaking a rattling which I hear is something of a common occurrence.

I don't quite agree. Acura has a huge base, but not an "enthusiast" base. They sell plenty of cars to people who don't care about looks, only about comfort, leather, comfy ride, Japanese reliability and the badge. Yes the sales are going down, but the looks are a very small part of that equation. I believe the

I'm just not sure how they're going to incorporate the big triangle grill that they've been using lately without it looking awkward. I'm glad we're moving away from the smile face though.

I can appreciate the point of the post - I take that you don't care for the added attention that "special" badges give you and feel that the performance of the current crop of standard cars is more than enough - let me know if I'm off base.
